Everything was ready. Everyone were ready as well, including Bakugou and Kirishima.
You might be wondering why, well, today was a big day. It was the day for the King of the Todoroki family to visit his son, and judge wether he approves of the one Todoroki has decided to marry.
Because of this, a party will be held. A traditional party in the Todoroki family, to be exact. Even the whole village celebrates it by having a festival. However, the ones invited to the party, are celebrating it indoors.
It is also a tradition to wear yukatas or kimonos, especially if you're invited to the party that is being held indoors - which Bakugou and Kirishima are invited to. There is a rule that came along with the yukatas. Only the couple, who are Todoroki and Midoriya, will be wearing white yukatas, which are very simple. Even makeup is required for them, which they had a solid way to do so. The makeup wasn't much, than to wear a white, winged eyeliner and some foundation - along with making their lips more light colored.Bakugou was wearing this black, with a few red roses on it, yukata - which he by the way, didn't like. He kept checking himself in the mirror, in the room he stayed in. He kept on clicking his tongue for each time he turned around.
Kirishima noticed Bakugou not being satisfied at all with what he was wearing. "Bakugou, is something wrong with the yukata?" He asked, while he tried to figure out how the yukata worked.
"Hell yes I do!!" Bakugou bluntly admitted, very loudly. It could have probably been heard outside of their room. "It looks to feminine, and it's all because of these stupid roses!" He ranted. "How come yours is just dark blue, and that's just it! How come it's so simple!" He complained.
"You really think so?" Kirishima spoke, still not getting any idea about how the yukata worked. "Rather than it looking feminine, I think it looks really manly on you." He smiled like an idiot, or which Bakugou thought.
His cheeks flushed a shade of pink. He clicked his tongue once more and walked over to Kirishima in irritation. "Give me that!" He grabbed a hold on Kirishima's yukata, which was lazily worn on him.
Bakugou started to help Kirishima with the yukata he was struggling to fasten on. He focused on making the yukata look more proper, which made him not notice Kirishima staring at him. He then looked back at Kirishima, after fixing his yukata.
"Don't style your hair for the party!" Bakugou demanded. "Let it down this time." He told him. Kirishima just nodded. His hair wasn't often let down. It was often spiky, facing up.
Someone then knocked on the door. "Come in." Bakugou said, and a maid showed up inside.
"Prince Todoroki is looking for you two." She informed them. "Please follow me if you're ready." She bowed her head.
"Alright then." Bakugou sighed out, straightening his back. "Are you ready?" He asked Kirishima. He just nodded with a smile.
The maid lead Bakugou and Kirishima to a room where Todoroki was waiting for them. The maid then left, bowing her head before walking out of the room. The only ones in the room were Todoroki, Midoriya and them.
Todoroki and Midoriya were wearing the white yukatas with some makeup, as I had mentioned before.
"Half and Half, why did you want to meet me?" Bakugou asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
Todoroki cleared his throat, ignoring the nickname he just got called by. "My father-" He cringed at his own words, and paused for a second. "My father is arriving soon. I wanted you to be ready before he shows up." He explained. "And I would like for a Kirishima to stay with the other guests." He told them, averting his eyes at Kirishima.
"Why though?" Bakugou asked, raising an eyebrow, making Todoroki look back at him.
"He isn't royal, is he?" Todoroki asked, wanting a honest and blunt answer from him. Bakugou looked at Kirishima, whom looked back at him.
"No, he isn't." Bakugou admitted, biting his lower lip. He kept looking at Kirishima, who didn't know what to say.
Todoroki sighed out loud, getting their attention. "Who exactly is he then?" He asked, being very blunt. Midoriya was about to scold him for his bluntness, until Bakugou spoke.
"A friend." Bakugou simply replied, staring into Todoroki's eyes with confidence.
"You're lying, Bakugou. You would never call someone for a friend. You don't have friends." Todoroki, once again, bluntly spoke.
"Heh. I would say the same thing to you too." Bakugou slightly joked, but Todoroki kept waiting for a real answer. He was serious, and Bakugou understood that by just staring into his fierce eyes.
He couldn't find any answers at all, other than him being a dragon, a tool to use to get to where he would have to be.Is he really just someone transporting me from place to another, Bakugou thought to himself, chewing on the inside of his mouth.
"Alright!" Midoriya clapped his hands once, getting everyone's attention. "Shoto, get ready with Kacchan. You guys should to the entrance." He ordered them to do.
Bakugou clicked his tongue, while Todoroki gave a quick peck on Midoriya's lips, smiling like an idiot in love - which was what Bakugou saw in him. "If you say so, Dear." He softly smiled at his future husband, already starting with the cliche nicknames.
Midoriya's face turned red, embarrassingly pushing Todoroki out of the way, stuttering his words. Bakugou followed after, staying calm.
"Ah-" Kirishima reached out his hand, grabbing Bakugou by his yukata from behind. Bakugou stopped up, turning his head at him.
"What?" Bakugou waited for fast words.
"Um-" Kirishima quickly released his grip from Bakugou's yukata. "It's uh-" He looked down at his feet, not finding the words he wanted to say. "I-" He shook his head, looking back at Bakugou. "It's nothing. Good luck with not yelling." He smiled, which disappeared once Bakugou left the room.
"Kirishima." Midoriya called out on him. "Let me show you where you'll be." He smiled.
"Okay!" Kirishima faced Midoriya with another smile, but this time it was forced.
