The Adventures of Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph (OLDDDDD)

Chapter 3

"Hey, Josh?" Tyler says to me. "Yes, baby?" I reply. "Would you like to go for dinner tonight? I was thinking Taco Bell," he says. I feel a smile form on my face. Taco Bell is our favourite fast food restaurant, so how could I say no to him? Tyler looks at me with puppy dog eyes. "I'd love to," I say, softly kissing him on the cheek. We get our shoes on and go out to Tyler's car. I get my phone out of my pocket and plug it into the aux cord while Tyler puts his seatbelt on. "What songs are you going to play, honey?" he asks me, curiously. "You'll see," I reply. I quickly put on my seatbelt and look though my Spotify account. The first thing I see is my TØP playlist, so I put it on shuffle. The first thing to play is Truce, so I look over at Tyler and notice his eyes start to water. I skip it and Morph plays instead. I air drum for the sake of it while Tyler backs out of the driveway. We live about 26 minutes away from the Taco Bell we're going to. "Hey, would you like to do some carpool karaoke since we have a little while to go?" I ask Tyler. "Sure," he says. I let him do the singing and rapping while I air drum, but we both yell out "Not done, not done, not done, Josh Dun." The next song to play is Johnny Boy. "A classic," Tyler says to me. I smile. Eventually, we get to the Taco Bell. "After you," I say, opening the door. "Why, thank you, kind sir," Tyler replies, jokingly. I follow him into the building. "My treat," I say immediately. "Get whatever you want." We both order our food and grab a drink for both of us to share. "What do you want, Ty? I'll get it for us," I say. "Pepsi," Tyler replies. I fill the cup with ice and Pepsi while Tyler goes to find somewhere to sit. I follow him once the cup is full. Tyler grabs his phone and starts quietly playing Taco Bell Saga. We both start laughing, but pause it when the waitress brings over a tray with our food. "Thank you so much," I say to her. She just smiles and walks away. "Thank you, Josh, I love you," Tyler says, kissing me on the cheek. "I love you, too," I reply, smiling. We both eat our food and talk. Eventually, we go back to our house. "Hey, wanna watch Netflix?" Tyler asks me. "I would love to," I say, turning on the TV. Tyler gets up to make us some microwave popcorn to share while I look for a show to watch. "Hey, how about Riverdale?" I call out to Tyler, who's still in the kitchen. "Yeah, let's watch it. I've heard it's really good," he says. I get up and walk to the kitchen. I grab a bottle of Pepsi that's sitting in the fridge and open it. Tyler notices and gets two tall glasses down from the cupboard. I fill them both up, almost to the top, and go back to the couch. I put them both on the coffee table and walk over to the closet to get us a blanket to cuddle in. As I get back to the couch, I see Tyler with the popcorn on the table. He gestures for me to sit next to him. I grab the remote and cuddle up against him, putting the blanket over top of us. "Okay, you ready to watch it now?" I ask, looking up into his eyes. "Yeah," he says. I play the first episode and we watch it together. At the end of the 7th episode, I notice Tyler fell asleep. I turn off the TV and decide to go to sleep, too.
