Chapter 6- Seeing Beyond the Soul

Kita

They were downstiars, the ones from my 'vision', two werewolves and one vampire. I wonder why they were travelling together, was the vampire the boys mate? They acted more like brother and sister from what I heard coming from in the kitchen. I went back upstairs to my room on the top floor. Kyle was already there looking for me.

The reason I was up here is because after I made dinner I had felt a 'vision' coming and Kyle, being an overly protective head said I was to go lay down. I had fought it off till I layed down, which hadn't been that comforting, but the only thing I 'saw' was me playing the piano with the little wolf girl curled up next to me. Now that had sorta been a desapointment. True, I was glad that the little wolf would be comfortable enough to sit that close. But I was hoping the 'vision', was going to be, well, more usful.

Sooner or later they would have to figure out that Kyle and I weren't normal humans, I was hoping for sooner, the longer we knew them it would be dangerous if they didn't know. I hopped on my bed next to Kyle and said in his mind,

~We are gonna have to tell them about us you know. About us being psychic and our powers or they won't trust us.~

He nodded, agreeing with me and said,

~Their scared, and lost, let's give them a little time, give them tonight to rest up and we'll tell them tommorow okay?"

In responce I hugged him and said out loud,

"There coming upstairs Ky, guess we should head to bed, I'll meet them tommorow, my heads still spinning." he looked at me, worried but then I began our nightly ritual whispering,

"Accept the things to which fate binds you..." I looked at him expectently and he sighed before continuing,

"And love the people with whom fate brings you together..." and I funished with,

"But do so with all your heart." it was a saying we had started saying a while back. With every home we went to, with every person we met, we followed this saying, Marcus Aurelius Antoninus was the person who wrote it. But I don't think he really knew people like me and Kyle who would use it the way we did. It was our saying of hope, of how things always happen for a reason, and to follow your heart. I just hoped that helping these people is the right thing, it was fate that brought them here, and fate that we were going to help them.

I woke up to the smell of the most deliciouse scent in the world, I would do anything to get to this amazing source even if it meant to lie, cheat, steal, or kill, well maybe not kill. Depends on who that is. This smell would drive anyone like this...because, it was the smell of bacon! I crept quietly out my door that was connected to the ones Shara and Derek where using. After cheaking on them, seeing as they were still passed out, I had a strange thought,

~I don't understand, who could ever resist the smell of bacon? No one, that's who, and yet they are still very past out!~

I shrugged to no one in particular, their loss, more bacon for me. Carefully I went down the sprial staircase (which is very awesome if I might add!!! It had weird designs on it, looking as if it had been done with sharpie or something.)
