Chapter 14.6

The Legends of The Old U.N

‘Yes…I do’, He says with a soft voice, almost as if the old memories he was picturing in his mind had him in a trance.

Sevan’s mind lingers on those memories for a while, before he’s snapped back to reality by the dozens of bewildered stares that where pointing at him, from both his friends and enemies.

‘But of course….that was a long time ago. Now, you are the enemy. You are the ones that must be wiped off the face of this earth…And I will personally see to it that you are’, Sevan threatened, as he raised his sword to attack.

‘Hmph…I think that’s our line’, Arthur retorted as he bared his fangs at Sevan.

As the members of The Order and the members of The Legion got ready to slug it out in a free for all death match in the small auditorium, a loud booming voice was heard.

‘THAT”S ENOUGH OF THIS FOOLISHNESS!’, the voice boomed from the central seating stands.

All heads turned to the owner of the Voice, one Mr. E Gurusen, the former leader of the Lords and Ladies of the Legion and the current head of the New U.N council.

He was elderly man who was into his early 60’s already. But even then, he had the body and character of a true leader and warrior. He had medium brown skin, white hair which he kept in a comb over and a body worthy of a man who had never lost, covered in the various tattoos and scars he had earned through battle.

And it was evident that both sides were terrified of this Living Legend for they both immediately disengaged from each other without a word of complaint or dissatisfaction.

‘My, these children are so noisy. Am I not right Kaneko-san’, an elderly woman who had long orange hair which was braided remarked as she and  another elderly woman, whom had navy blue hair which was tied into a bun, walked up beside Gurusen.

‘I agree Akemi-san….Especially our own’, the blue haired woman replied as he glared at her son, Kaede.

‘Yes…they’ve been very naughty’, Akemi says teasingly as she looks at Akihito.

Akihito and Kaede look at the woman with dissatisfied and slightly annoyed looks.

‘Mother….that comment was not necessary ’, Akihito replies to his mother, Akemi, as he dematerializes his weapon.

‘Yes Mother-in-law…and you too mother. Please don’t interfere in this matter’, Kaede added as his weapon was dematerialized as well.

‘Akihito! Kaede! Show respect when you’re talking to your mothers!’, Masanori yelled at his son and son-in-law as he appeared on the right side of Gurusen. His white hair was in its usual combed back style and he wore a sharp looking suit with a long cloak, just like the silver haired man beside him.

‘Don’t bother with them my brother-in-law. Since when have they ever respected our words, hmm?’, the silver haired man, who went by the name Haganei Kitsuri, told his friend and brother-in-law.

‘Father, can you please stop saying that’, Kaede requested as he let out an irritated sigh.

‘You see what I meant Gurusen….no respect at all’, Kitsuri complained as he pointed at his son.

‘That’s enough!’, Gurusen bellowed, a clear look of irritation on his face.

The other members of the U.N and the members of The Legion and The Order where now all fearful of the strong man standing in the center, knowing very well of his destructive nature when he was enraged.

‘Uh….yes. We may have let our bickering get a little out of hand’, Akemi stuttered out apologetically.

‘A little! You more or less made this meeting in to your personal family affair’, Sevan said, a mocking tone in his voice as he looked up at the 5.

‘And what about you Master Gurusen….where is your son and the fearless leader of the Legion, hmm? Too afraid to see me?’, Sevan added as the members of The Order broke out into laughter.

Gurusen glares at Sevan and his men, instantly silencing them.

‘My son is speaking with Sarumara about some important issues concerning the school……’, Gurusen replies him calmly, a smirk forming on his face as he continues…

‘In fact, I have to go and join him as well. Masanori, I leave you in charge of conducting this meeting. We will try to return before it ends. I’ll take my leave now,’ He finishes before turning around and walking towards the exit, leaving the people in the room to shuffle back to their seats as the meeting was about to commence.

Before moving to take the grand seat, Masanori walks over to Gurusen to discuss a few things before he left.

‘Gurusen, will everything be alright?’, he asks his friend, concern in his voice since this was the first time in years that Gurusen had skipped a meeting.

Gurusen turned to his friend and for the first time that day. A warm smile broke on his face.

‘Yes my friend. Everything shall be fine’, Gurusen assures Masanori, before turning and walking out the hall leaving his friend standing there with a smile on his face.

‘Seems it is indeed’
