"Behold!" The wizard presented the enchanted sword to his warrior queen with a flourish. "My finest blade!"
She examined the piece from a safe distance. It certainly looked impressive. It was three feet of rune-etched carbon steel, with a hilt set with rubies and chased in gold.
"It's on fire," she said simply.
"Wreathed in magical flame, Your Majesty."
"Well, it will be visible, alright, but how am I supposed to wield it?"
"I could make you a suit of truly invulnerable armor..." He began. She sighed. They always promised her a bargain, then burned you with the accessories.
