He looked at his subjects training in his facility. He was very happy with the progress they had made. He was sure that he would be able to put his plan into action very soon. He took a sip of his special drink and felt an instant wave of energy throughout his body. Just then his assistant came in.

"Sir, he is ready for the procedure."

"Good work Jade. Soon there will be nothing but chaos and havoc in this town. Attacking that competition was one of the best decisions I made in a while. We will have a young army and a strong commander to lead them. Soon, very soon, people will know my name."

Shiloh left Skyler in the training area. Even though Shiloh had convinced her to stay, Skyler was still very angry and frustrated with her. At the end of the day the only loser in this whole story was herself. She regretted coming back to town, she regretted going to the park and she started regretting the fact that she tried to help Emily. However, she had signed a contract with herself in her head, so no matter how many regrets she was feeling at that very moment, Skyler knew she had to put up with everything that would be thrown at her. She looked around the room, there were so many gadgets and so many weapons to choose from and that made Skyler feel nervous, she had never touched a weapon in her life.

"I see that you are getting acquainted with our weapons," Melanie said as she walked into the the room, "so glad you decided to stay Skyler."

"I didn't have much of a choice. Your General literally barred me from dancing ever again," Skyler replied in an annoyed voice.

"I'm sorry about that, but she didn't have much of a choice either. By the way, she is your General as well, which technically means that she is your boss too." Skyler shrugged. She hated the fact that the General was her new boss.

"So what exactly are we gonna do?" Skyler asked. Melanie's face lit up with a smile.

"I'm glad you asked. Please sit."

"You mean on the floor?"

"Yes," Melanie replied as she sat down, Skyler did the same.

"Okay I we have to discuss a possibility with regards to your powers," Melanie started off.

"Okaayyyy," Skyler replied slowly. Upon seeing the nervousness on Skyler's face Melanie knew she had to try and soften the blow.

"You see, there is a possibility that you may have 'inherited' other powers..."

"Wait, strength isn't the only thing I could have gotten from the creatures?" Skyler asked in ironic amazement. "What on earth did I do to deserve this?"

"No... " Melanie said, "the strength manifested itself first I guess, but you didn't feel it did you?" Skyler shook her head. "So it's normal that you don't feel anything else. Judging from what Emily did, the powers enter the system very quickly, but the recipient doesn't know until the powers manifests itself, just like you with the bus." Melanie could tell that Skyler was scared, she herself was scared. She didn't know if she would be able to help Skyler control these powers to her full potential but she did know that the first step to anything was confidence.

"I know you're feeling scared right now and trust me when I say, I'm scared too. All this is new to me just as much as it's new to you..." Melanie started off.

"Yeah, but you don't have powers that you don't want coursing through your veins!" Skyler retorted.

"That's true and saying I understand you right now is an over over statement. Earlier, you asked what you did to deserve this. I can't answer that question but I can help you see things in a different way." Skyler stared at Melanie with slight confusion.
