Sasuke stared at the doors in front of him trying to figure out which way would be safer for your benefit, he should of went back and fetched Karin but he was honestly enjoying the time alone with you even though it was in the worst of circumstances which could lead to a brutal death but atleast he'd be by your side. You were starting to feel really uncomfortable in the silence, you just wanted to get everything over with and go to bed, you decided to break Sasuke's train of thoughts.
"Come on Sasuke, just pick a door" you pouted.
"Why don't you pick? Our fate can be in your hands instead"
"If it would make you feel better and get this over with quicker then... Left!"
Sasuke sighed and walked towards the left door, he hoped you'd made the right choice but he would of felt more guilty if he'd of picked and something bad happened so he felt the weight shift a little. You walked up beside him seeing him hesitate with his hand on the door handle, he really should have a little more faith in you, you'd survived through a lot recently which shown you wasn't weak in the slightest. You took matters into your own hands and turned the door handle swinging it wide open.
"TO NARNIA!!!!" You yelled with a fist in the air.
Sasuke furrowed his eye brows at you and shook his head before entering, you followed close behind him still amused by your joke, luckily the corridor was dimly lit like the others which made you feel a lot more comfortable. Each turn began to get sharper, there wasn't any doors atall, just burning torches around every corner and the terrible Oder of death. You soon reached a large room and Sasuke halted and held out an arm to keep you back. As you took a peek from behind him at the room you knew why he had stopped you, there was human skeletons with Kunai stuck between their ribs and eye sockets, you gulped back the fear and took another look around the room, a huge square shaped room with a low ceiling, nothing inside it but bones, you looked at the two walls and noticed they were covered in holes, so you put two and two together.
"I'm guessing the Kunai shoots out the walls once a presence is detected in front of them, right?" You asked.
"Bingo, do you think you can dodge your way through? I don't think I'd be able to keep up enough speed if I carried you, I guess we could turn back"Sasuke sighed.
"I'm sure I can manage... Besides, the other way could be worse!"
"Alright, just pay attention to my every movement and don't do anything stupid" he smirked.
"Yeah yeah, just get across" you playfully pushed his shoulder.
Sasuke began to speed forward as the Kunai started shooting out at him, he managed to dodge every single one without a scratch and landed on the other side with and turned around giving you a very smug smirk, 'what a show off' you thought and rolled your eyes. And now it was your turned to cross, you looked around pondering, there was no way you could get across like Sasuke just did! You suddenly had an idea, you got down on the floor rolling over to your back and carefully slid yourself along the floor, the Kunai started to shoot out only missing you by an inch, you smiled as you realised your plan was working and couldn't help but hum the mission impossible theme tune as you slid along. Finally you reached the other end and stood up to face Sasuke who had a look on his face like 'what kind of move was that?!'
"Nailed it!" You yelled as you were happy the smug look was wiped off his face.
"That was the worst tactic I have ever soon..."
"Well I'm alive aren't I?!" Feeling abit offended.
"Yeah but I think your embarrassment count just went up by one" Sasuke chuckled.
"Oh really?" You crossed your arms and glared.
"I never thought I'd fall for a girl who could impersonate a snail so well"
"S-shut up!" You blushed.
Sasuke then grabbed you and kissed your forehead, trap number one avoided successfully!
