"I told you didn't I?"

"What do you mean, Xandra?"

"Stop acting innocent Antony. It was James who killed Kylie. This is crystal clear. He is the only psychopath I know."

"I still don't know where is James' fault here."

I glared at Antony.

I wanted to hit him so badly.

Why was he trying to save James?

Oh yeah, because they're brothers. Step brothers.

I could finally join the dots.

It was James who choked Kylie to death, and Kylie was struggling, which resulted in scratches on James' arms.

And here I thought he was playing with kittens.

I sighed, as I walked into the school gates again.

No matter how many proofs I get against James, Antony won't buy it.

But guess what? I secretly told Sam do get a check up on Kylie's whole body, including her nails.

After I get my hands on the report, I will seriously throw it on Antony's face and admit James into an asylum.

"Miss Black!"

I turned around, to face my new English teacher, and saw that he was coming towards me.

I subtly noticed Antony following him, closely.

What the hell was happening?

"Yes sir?" I said, as he reached near me.

From the corner of my eye, I noticed Antony smirking.

"Where were you?" He asked me.

Oh shit. What was I going to say? That I was skipping classes?

"Uh..."

"You were skipping classes like Mister Cage?" He enquired.

I stood there, just staring at him.

"Very well then. I'll see you both in detention." Sir said, as he walked away.

"Damn it. I guess we are accompanying Cole and James then." Antony said, smirking at me.

I nodded.

Walking into the class, full of only three boys was an uneventful sight.

Like, Cole was sitting at the very back of the room, beside the window. He was staring out.

On the other corner of the room, I saw James sitting all by himself, and doing god knows what on his phone.

The thing which surprised me the most was Antony sitting on the first bench, reading a book.

Looking closely, I realised I have read that book before.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

It was actually one of my favourites.

Placing my bag pack on the first bench, next to Antony, I decided to clear my throat.

Antony looked up at me, from his book.

I subtly noticed James and Cole looking at me as well.

"Pride and prejudice huh?" I could'nt help but ask, with a smirk on my face.

Since the whole class was silent, everyone present in the room were hearing me.

Antony actually thought I was making fun of him, as he hurriedly closed the book before stuffing it into his bag.
