Ethan's POV
Jinx residents
Monday: October 29th, 2018
6:30pm

Grayson and i went back to our house to change into comfy clothes since i guess Hadley's dad has a thing about everyone being comfortable so we are barely going over to her house now.

we approached the door and i went to knock but Grayson just opened it.

"you don't knock do you?" i asked with a chuckle.

"friends since elementary school bitchass" he replied with a laugh.

"Grayson!" a man yelled, someome stepped into the main hall from the kitchen. he was dressed in an old looking t-shirt and flannel pants.

"Mr. Jinx" he said then they did this weird handshake.

"for the millionth time you can call me Nick" he replied then let out a loud full laugh.

"nice to see you Ethan" he said with a huge smile once he saw me. i was still by the door so Gray was hiding me.

"good to see you as well sir" i responded then stuck my hand out for him to shake it.

"goes for you too kid...call me Nick" he told me with another laugh. i nodded my head.

"so you are actually staying to eat and talk right?" he asked.

"yep no waiting in the car" i replied with a smile.

"hey guys!" Haddie's voice said but she was no where to be seen. then Nick turned around and moved a little bit too the right.

there was she was, walking down the stairs case. her hair was now up in a messy bun with a few short strains sticking out, and no makeup was on her face. she wasn't in jeans anymore, just sweats and a loose sweater. she looked beautiful.

Hadley's POV

i gave Grayson a quick hug since he was the closest. i've always loved hugging him, it's the most comforting thing in the world.

then my dad was next. i don't get to hug him as often  but everytime i see him i make up for it.
"you just hugged me" he laughed.

"and?" i questioned as i separated from him.

"oh a hug from me too?" Ethan asked as i wrapped my arms around his waist.

"yep" i laughed and felt his arms wrapped around me too.

"you look cute" he whispered in my ear.

i didn't want to make it obvious that there was something going on between us so i let go. he just smiled at me and i did the same.

"so what did you make?" Gray asked my dad.

"BBQ pulled pork sandwiches" he replied with a smile on his face.

immediately Grayson got excited and basically ran into the kitchen.

since it's only my dad and i, the table only seats 4. Grayson was across from me, my dad was on my left and Ethan on my right.
