even so, patton woke up early in the morning and prepared breakfast for the others immediately. he actively cooked as much as possible, not caring if he can still sleep for a few more hours since he doesn't even attend highschool at all.
the mute's drowsiness was clear on his once energetic features, which he tries to mask whenever the others are present. with a yawn, he finally served the food on the dining table.
virgil being the next to be early to wake up, was the first to eat.
while eating, he couldn't help but notice patton repeatedly slowly falling asleep for a moment, only to wake up and regain his energy abruptly. worried, he looked at the mute and spoke.
"you good there, padre?" he questioned him.
"∂σи'т ωяιтє αиутнιиg." a voice advised in the mute's head.
without question to the voice, patton simply nodded at virgil with a forced smile before finishing his breakfast, doing what the voice wished. after so, roman arrived in the dining room.
"fairy goodness-mother! patton, what dragon witch did you encounter last night?" the fanciful brunette exclaimed, noticing patton's changes just now for some reason.
"∂σи'т вσтнєя αиѕωєяιиg. нє ∂σєѕи'т ¢αяє αт αℓℓ, тяυѕт мє. нιѕ αяяσgαи¢є ρяσνєѕ ιт."
patton simply shrugged without a bit of enthusiasm, not writing anything on the post-it note pad that he has. at this unusual behavior, virgil became slightly anxious.
"ooookay then... if you need some assistance, saving, or just some fashion tips, you know who to call." roman said with a smile.
"ghostbusters!" virgil joked, trying to atleast lift the mute's spirits a bit. it felt wrong seeing patton in such a state.
patton faintly laughed with a smile, sadness still lingering in his tone.
