Hi guys! Sooo, here's a short story I just wrote. The beginning is mostly true, but then the story went the way I imagined it :) I hope you like it. Ik, the title sucks, but well, who cares lol.

I stand as the music washed over me. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice one of the band members near the back of the group, out of the spotlight. As I watch him, I see that he plays the guitar. From where I am, I can tell that he plays the more complicated parts of the song. His longish dark curly hair falls in his eyes. He stays in the background, noticed by few. I see him. I turn my attention back to the music, but my eyes keep straying back to him. I can't help it. I'm just drawn to him for some reason. A stranger who stands there praising God, unashamed, but hidden. He doesn't try to receive the praise from the audience. I almost feel bad because while I'm trying to praise God, I'm also fantasizing about a guy I've never met. As my eyes stray back to him, he seems to be looking at me. I mentally laugh it off. Of course he wouldn't see me amidst this group of people in the audience. His eyes are probably just glazed over as he sings and plays for God. I smile at this young man's humility and quiet passion as I turn my eyes back to the words of the song... "Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God... Oh, it chases me down, fights till I'm found..."
I wander out of the auditorium towards the lunch room, thinking about the stranger when I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Excuse me," a quiet, deep voice rumbles as I turn around, "Um... hi. I'm, uh, Josh." Oh my goodness, it's him! He scratches the back of his head awkwardly.
"Hi! I'm Astra," I say with a bit of an awkward wave. His eyes are a rich brown, like milk chocolate. I shake my head a little, "Great job up there, with the guitar. There's no way I could play like that. You're really talented."
He smiles a bit awkwardly, "Thanks. Um, I noticed you seem to really like to sing."
"Wait, what? You saw me in the middle of that crowd."
"Uh, yeah. Heh. You kind of stood out to me. I'm not sure why..." he trails off.
"Um, do want to have lunch with me?" I ask, "We can talk and maybe get to know each other a bit."
He smiles, "Okay. I'd like that."
