I usually write free verse, so it is rare I have a rhyming poem.

music makes the world go round
it perks us up
it calms us down
it makes us laugh
it makes us cry
it eases pain when we want to die
Music makes the world go round
with dance and praise
with sight and sound
with every little vibe and verb
Music helps the blind to see
inspires hope
encourages glee
There is nothing more
I'd rather see
than share the music
of my life with you
and you share your
life's music with me
