In a fit of silliness Taehyung hid, pulling the covers over his head and making Jimin laugh harder. For a while they played a game of wrestling as Jimin tried to get him to come out, attempting to yank the covers off of him, though he found Taehyung's grip to be quite strong. It ended when Taehyung seemed to have forgotten how small the bed was and rolled right off of the edge; Jimin laughed to tears, not able to stop even as he tried to ask if he was okay. As Taehyung at last revealed his face only to see Jimin peering down at him, laughing so hard that hardly any noise was coming out anymore, he, too, spiraled into laughter as well.

It seemed that their entire morning was playful and carefree. When their laughing fit had passed, they realized they were starving from never having thought to eat dinner the night before. They cooked together with constant antics, giggling and cuddling, hanging off of one another, laughing hard when something spilled or got a little too burned, and finding joy even in unfortunate things. Taehyung made a running gag of holding things above Jimin's head to make him have to jump to retrieve them, and Jimin returned the favor by poking Taehyung's sides where he knew he was ticklish when he grew tired of jumping. Even just in sitting down and eating, there was nothing but smiles between the two of them.

Then, in a moment of brief silence, Taehyung glanced at the still all too obvious mark on Jimin's neck. Maybe Jimin could sense that he was looking there, or maybe he had just been thinking about it himself, because he absently reached up to run a finger over where he knew it was. He had finally seen it the night before, just before laying down in his bedroom mirror. He tried not to think too hard about it then, but it was hard to forget entirely. They sat in silence for a while as they finished eating. Taehyung tried not to keep looking at the mark, but couldn't help himself. He noted how, even though Jimin's eyes were less swollen, the darkness around them was still there. He supposed there had been too much wickedness at play Jimin's personal life for every sign of distress on his body to disappear overnight. Jimin looked to him for a moment but, perhaps seeing the seriousness in his gaze, somberly looked down.

"... We should run away," Taehyung said before he could stop himself. Jimin looked back to him with rapidly blinking eyes.

"Should we...?" he asked, baffled at how a thought like that would even occur to him.

"Mm." Taehyung gave a nod of his head. "To get you away from the Studio, that drug, and the ghost."

"Oh..." Jimin looked down a little as he thought. Perhaps he was only just realizing how out of character he had been for the past several weeks; maybe it was only now that it started to click that he had been addicted, quite literally, to the ghost's influence on him. He gulped as he pondered on it. When he was in the midst of it, he didn't stop to think that anything was wrong. He lived day to day, craving a little more and more for what he now realized was a drug as the week went on. Yes, he felt okay right now, but it was only the morning before that he had woken up from having been exposed to it. He couldn't say how he would feel later on that evening, or the next day, or a few days from then. He felt a sudden tightness in his throat at the actual realization of how much his life had been controlled by such a thing as of late.

"How serious are you?" Jimin asked with fear swelling up in his eyes once more.

"As serious as you want me to be," Taehyung answered firmly, reaching for and gripping onto the boy's hand. "You should know that I have the means to get us anywhere. Just say the word and I can do some research. It wouldn't have to be for long. We could even be back before Friday, if anyone would have a problem with you missing a concert."

"But... What about after the concert?" Jimin asked, starting to sound like he was being suffocated. "What will I even do about being in my dressing room?" Taehyung gripped his hand a little tighter.
