His rounds at the hospital were over and Beam was heading to his locker to get changed and go home.
It's Friday again and days went by rather quickly. Thanks to the smiles of his persistent delivery man and to the single white rose he would receive every time he goes for lunch everyday. It doesn't matter where he eats, the flower comes.
The dark days of him remembering his old flame are slowly fading away. Beam smiled at the sight of the rose as he opened his locker.
"I should really put you in a vase with water by the window instead of possessively hiding you here."
The door opened and a tall doctor went inside. "Your talking to flowers now, Beam?"
Beam didn't pay a mind to his best friend. He sniffed on the rose for the umpteenth time. He wanted to bury this scent so he can go on for the whole night without reminiscing his dark days.
Whoever sent him the roses is the same person who sent the snow globes.
'Always remember that someone cares, Angel.
-TDK'Beam read the note wrapped on the stem again. TDK. He smiled tenderly.
A piece of crumpled paper was thrown in his head. That made Beam finally pay attention to the other person in the room.
"What the hell, P'Pha!"
Dr. Phana Kongthanin chuckled at the reddened face of his bestfriend and colleague. He walked closer to Beam and pinched his cheeks.
"Aish!" Beam slapped his fingers away.
He laughed even louder. He finds his best friend's reaction cute. But not as cute as his husband, Wayo.
This isn't the first time that Phana found Beam get lost and dreamy over a rose. It's been happening for weeks on end. And he is happy for the change in Beam. But still a bit worried.
"Don't you think you're kind of falling for a stranger and a stalker at that?" He finished getting changed just like Beam.
"What...? No. I'm just... appreciating it. That's all." Beam lied. He actually was falling for this mysterious guy.
What's odd is...the face of the delivery man who would come say hi to him every morning before he goes for work, comes to his mind.
But Beam thinks they couldn't be the same. After all, the price of those limited edition snow globes, the shipping costs, the flowers... A delivery man's salary wouldn't cover them. Bangkok City is an expensive place to live in.
The snapping fingers woke Beam up from wandering his mind somewhere.
"Hey! Who's TDK? It looks familiar." Phana said after getting a glimpse of the note on Beam's rose.
Beam possessively hid the rose behind him. "If I knew, you'd think I'll tell your nosy ass." Beam picked up his backpack and began to leave the locker room.
"Hey! You still haven't even told me why you were absent two months ago. Hey! Beam!!!" Phana was hurriedly putting his other things inside his messenger bag. But Beam already left.
"Aish! I know I heard a man that time. And he sounded like he was bottoming. The fuck? He's a dominant." Phana talked to himself as we was already left all alone.

"Doc Beam!!!" Zeanne screamed happily at her favorite resident as he got off the elevator. She seemed excited, making her front desk colleagues shake their heads.Zeanne, their youngest coworker can be overly excited for the hospital's ice prince. That's what they all call Beam. He's charming. Yet cold.
"Evening, Z." Beam approached the desk.
