Eve sat in her hotel room looking out of the large window over Berlin. She had never been out of the country before. The circumstances made it even crazier.

Meanwhile, Bucky woke up in a cold sweat. He blinked away the now fading dream. He contemplated on what to do before seeing the light on under the joining door. Bucky hesitated on going over there, but he didn't want to alone.

Eve heard a knock on the door that joins her room to the room next to her. She walked over and opened it to reveal Bucky Barnes. His hair was wet and pulled back in a low bun. He was dressed in sweat pants and a thin shirt, something she wasn't used to.

"Hey, I was just checking on you," Bucky said and shoved his hands in his pockets. He looked down at what she was wearing to realize she was still in the clothes she was wearing earlier despite it being two in the morning.

"Do... do you need some clothes to change into?" Bucky asked her, making her embarrassed.

"I don't have any clothes besides these and the suit," Eve admitted. Bucky nodded and walked away to get into his bag.

"Not that you don't always look great, but you could look a little more comfortable," Bucky said as he grabbed a shirt and a pair of sweats. He walked back and handed them to Eve with a smile.

"Thank you, James. You can come in," Eve replied and lead him into her room. He sat down on her bed as she walked into the bathroom to change.

"Do you," Bucky trailed off as he realized she began changing without closing the door so he could see her reflection in the wall mirror, "feel better getting away from everything?"

"Yeah it's nice to get away," Eve said as she pulled off her shirt and began pulling Bucky's over her head. Bucky looked away at the painting in the room.

"In New York, when you asked me if I would change anything," Bucky said and looked back in the mirror to see her stop putting the shirt on halfway through. "I don't think I would anymore."

"Really? Why's that?" Eve asked as she finished pulling the shirt down and took off her pants. Bucky swallowed as he saw her then remembered to look away again.

"I feel like I need to be honest with you," Bucky said hesitantly. He watched as Eve pulled up the sweatpants and walked back into the room with a confused look on her face.

"I have done a lot of bad things in my lifetime, and I couldn't control it. I don't have much memory, but enough to remember what happened." Bucky spoke as Eve walked over and stood in front of him. Bucky liked how she looked in his clothes.

"I don't think you're the same person as you once were. I also don't think it was your fault," Eve comforted him and took a step closer to him.

"But I don't think I would change anything because I might not have met you," Bucky said cautiously, afraid of what she'd say. Eve gave him a warm smile.

"I wouldn't have changed anything either," Eve replied, making Bucky feel at ease.

She began looking and listening around from where she was sitting in her hotel room. As her eyes turned white, she looked in the neighboring rooms expecting to see the other Avengers. She saw nothing, that is until she saw Cap's room. All of the Avengers were discussing something.

"We can't just put her out in the open," Steve argued. "She is wanted."

"Did you forget that she can turn invisible?" Tony asked sarcastically.

"She's new to this, she just got out of captivity," Wanda added. "Eve probably doesn't even trust us. She could bolt any second, trust me."

"If she wanted to leave, why would she have by now?" Natasha asked.

"Scared maybe? Doesn't have anywhere else to go?" Tony suggested. "I say we test her out. She what she can do."

"You want to test drive her like she's a car?" Bucky asked from the corner of the room. "She's a person, not some kind of robot you build."

"How are we supposed to know what she is about without putting her in that situation?" Tony asked. Moments later, the room broke up.

A knock on the door made her look towards it. From where she was sitting, she looked on the other side of the door feeling hopeful. She saw Tony, which made her a little disappointed. Eve unlocked the door with the wind and opened it up for him. Tony walked inside, shutting the door after him.

"How you feeling?" Tony asked as he leaned up against the desk in the room.

"I'm alright," Eve replied and looked at him.

"You know that stuff you can do, it's pretty cool," Tony said to her. "How would you feel using it to help us out on a mission. Simple one really. Fury has a hostage situation and needs Cap, Natasha, and Bucky. You in?"

Eve kept watching him even as he fidgeted with the things around him. She waited a moment before nodding her head once.

"Great then it's settled. You leave tonight."

Natasha, Steve, and Bucky all sat in Eve's room with her. Natasha helped Eve get ready in one of Natasha's uniforms she normally wears minus the weaponry.

Steve and Bucky stopped their conversation when Eve walked out of the bathroom with Natasha following. Bucky looked Eve up and down before realizing that it was extremely obvious he did that. Bucky shut his now slightly open mouth and blinked his thoughts away. He found himself thinking about her more often than not, but he didn't mind. He was starting to really like her.

Eve noticed his actions, making her feel more confident about herself. She couldn't help but let her crush grow larger for him. Eve couldn't stop herself from caring too much about Bucky. Every time he was around or she thought of him, she felt giddy inside.

"You look great," Bucky said with a smile at Eve. Eve smiled back at him as heat rushed up to her face.

"Thank you," Eve replied as she took a seat on the same bed as Bucky.

Around 15 minutes later at 12:00 A.M., the four of them set out. Tony had a meeting with some kid while Wanda stayed with Vision. Natasha drove with Steve in the passenger seat and Bucky with Eve in the back.
