Chapter 21

Lisa POV

It's been an unending cycle of us practicing again and sometimes we do photoshoots for advertisements or for magazines. It was tiring but we kept hanging on. Jennie-unnie was even busier than us because she was preparing for her solo. We are all excited and happy for her so we are giving her all our support and keep cheering her on.

It's been about a few weeks now since we last had our break. This week, on November 10 and 11 we will be having our solo concerts, and the day after will be the release of unnie's solo track.

We were finally given 3 days off, Monday to Wednesday, before we start practicing for the Blackpink solo concert again. Finally, a well deserved rest.

I woke up a little bit later than usual, I probably missed breakfast already. I get out of my room but notice that it was a bit more quiet than usual. Only the sounds of tv was playing. I take a peek in the living room and see Jisoo-unnie with the dogs. Where's Rosie? Is she still sleeping? Jennie-unnie is probably working out right now, since Kai and Kuma are already outside her room.

I walk to the kitchen to prepare a bunch of toasts, I made one for me and two for Rosie, making sure I spread her favorite Vegemite on hers.

Holding the plate of toasts on hand, and a glass of juice on the other, I make my way towards Rosie's room. I stand in front of her room and softly call out her name.

"Chaeng-ah, Chaeng-ah." still no response, I was trying to open the door using my hands with the plate of toasts but Jisoo-unnie suddenly speaks.

"Lisa, Chaeyoung-ah isn't here. She left early this morning."

I pouted at her words. Why didn't Rosie tell me?

"W-where did she go unnie? And who's she with?"

"I don't know and have no idea. She was in a hurry and told me she was leaving and wouldn't be back for a while."

Where did you go Rosie? I ask myself.

I sat with Jisoo-unnie and watched tv while eating my breakfast, I shared some with unnie who was telling me she disliked Vegemite and she had no idea why Rosie and Jennie liked it so much.

I got bored from watching Shin-chan with unnie, so I started looking through youtube for baby videos. While scrolling through the home button for suggested videos, one video caught my eye. It was a video about Rosekook, I couldn't help myself and pressed the video curious what it was about. I watched the full video and read the comments, a lot of them were saying they look really good together and that they ship them. As I was watching my chest hurt and kept getting heavier the more I watched but I wasn't sure why. Did I eat too much and am experiencing heartburn? I wasn't sure but what I was sure of is that I hated 100% of the video. I read one comment saying that they still preferred Chaelisa over Rosekook which made me happy and giddy.

Eh? Why did that make me happy? Did I not want Rosie to be shipped to anyone other than me? But why?

I ended up wasting away my first day of vacation, just watching tv, I tried playing games and read a book, and even watched a disney film but I kept getting bored. It felt empty today. I kept glancing at the clock every now and then and it was already past 5PM. Jennie-unnie arrived before lunch and was inside her room making slimes.

"Lisa, Rosie isn't going to come back faster even if you stare at the clock. She'll come home eventually."

"Wha, what are you talking about? I'm not waiting for Rosie to come back."

"Sure you aren't." Jisoo-unnie responds teasingly.

"Lisa, what if Rosie is out on a date today?"
