Sunday went by quick and soon it was Monday.  The sun was seeping through my curtains. I turned over to face Aden, who was still sleeping. He looked so peaceful. His golden bed hair was slightly scattered in his face. His lips as soft as rose petals. There was not one sign of any troubles laid across the smooth tan skin of his face. I couldn’t feel anything but love towards him. I stayed there just admiring this beautiful person that I was quickly falling hard for, for quite awhile until I remember we had school today.

“Aden” I said softly. No response . “Aden” I tried a little louder. This time he mumbled something in his sleep and rolled from where he was on my side facing me to him completely on top of me with his  head between my neck and collarbone.

My arms were trapped between our two bodies. “Aden!” I gasped. I could barely breathe from his weight nearly crushing me. This seemed to have woken him up.  He lifted his head up and realized what he was doing and quickly supported himself with his elbows and I was able to let air into my lungs.

“I’m sorry, baby. Did I hurt you?” Worry and guilt suddenly flashed on his face like had just slapped me.

“I’m okay, calm down. Just watch where you decide to roll next time, please.”

“ Mkay, baby.” Sleep in his voice which made it obvious that he was not fully awake. He relaxed and then laid back down on the side of me but with his arm draped across my waist and closed his eyes.

“Aden”  I rolled my eyes.

“Yes, baby?” he mumbled into my hair.

“We need to get up.”

“No we don’t . Go back to sleep, love.”

“Aden get up we have to get ready for school.” Aden finally sat up and began to rub the sleep from his eyes.

“Shit, I forgot about that.” I got up and walked into my bathroom but stopped before I walked completely in.

“Yeah I see that. We have 30 minutes to get ready so hurry up.” I didn’t wait for a response and shut the door.

I sat in the passenger seat of Aden’s car waiting for him while he locked the door, since we seemed to be the only ones left at the house. I slipped on my cheetah print ray bans that matched perfectly with my outfit of super skinny jeans with a thin cheetah print shirt that fit loosely and a pair of black gladiator sandals. Aden entered the car soon after and set his hand on my thigh as we backed out of the garage and headed out of the gates.

We drove in a comfortable silence . I was thinking about Kingsley and Veeni. I hope today doesn’t turn out like Friday, or worse. If Kingsley  was a normal teen that wasn’t always doing any and every with boobs and an ass then I would be all for the idea of him and Veeni together. But sadly, that wasn’t the case. I didn’t want to see my best friend get hurt, especially by my own brother. Aden’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

“Babe, I can  feel your worry. What’s wrong?” I was hesitant, thinking if I should tell him or just play it like nothing was wrong. “I’ll know if you’re lying, kitty.” Aden said sweetly as he gave my leg a playful squeeze. I sighed.

“I was just thinking about Veeni.”

“Your best friend? Why what’s wrong with her?”

“She thinks she has feelings for Kingsley.”

“Oh.” Was all he said as he gave me a sympathetic look.

“I know. Not such a good situation.”
