Third Person POV
Finally, Y/N was going to start working at the Detroit Police Department.

There was rumor going around that about a month or two ago, an android was actually assigned to her new partner Lieutenant Hank Anderson. Said android and the lieutenant have grown close and have a father-son relationship. Apparently, this android recently deviated, but because the revolution just ended, it wasn't shut down.

Well, Y/N was excited to meet this android, and wondered what it would be like to finally work with one that was actually allowed to have emotions.

And that's just what she was about to do.

She walked into the doors and made her way to the Captain's office. Captain Jeffery Fowler directed her to her new partners. A gray-haired, annoyed looking man and an android, who seemed very innocent looking, but handsome in the most devilish way.

The android smiled, and said, "This is Hank, I assure you, despite how he may act sometimes, he is a delight. My name is Connor, I'm the android sent by Cy- oh wait. I guess... I'm just Connor now," he laughed.

'He laughed,'  Y/N thought, surprised.

"Nice to meet you, Detective L/N," he extended his hand for her to shake. And she shook it, trying not to let the excitement from talking to a deviant normally be evident.

"Nice to meet you, both. Is there anything I could work on?"

After not talking for second, Hank had said something to the new employee.

"There are files near that computer. You can take the desk next to Connor's or whatever," the gray-haired man spoke dismissively, but the fact that he liked Y/N already was pretty clear. That made the E/C eyed female smile a little to herself.

She sat down and began to make herself comfortable, beginning to work on some case files as soon as she could.

The cases she worked on were interesting. They were homicides, but instead of only being centered around deviants, they were crimes committed by both human and androids. The difference is now, being a deviant isn't a crime and if a deviant commits a crime, they'll just be treated like a human would.

The thought of finally being able to be friends with an android made Y/N smile to herself again as she worked on and read her case files, not noticing an intrigued Connor scanning her, learning more about her, and admiring her.

On his behalf, her transcript was pretty impressive. She graduated at the top of her class in the police academy, just like Hank did. She was a "goodie two shoes" and a "teacher's pet," but what made her cool is that she didn't take shit from anyone. She was a very respectful woman, however, she does not tolerate disrespect. If she disagrees with something, she'll make sure she's gonna tell you, no matter who you are. Even if you do have a higher authority over her.
Connor found that to be... honorable.

"What are you thinking about, Brother?" said RK900, or Connor's younger brother Nines, startling the brown-eyed android.
