Brooke's POV

-

"You guys wanna go to the beach?" Ana asked from the other couch. We were watching tv.

"YAS!" I screamed and jumped up. Everyone laughed. As you can tell, I really like the beach.

"ANA COME ON." I grabbed her arm and dragged her to her room. I let go of her when we got to her room, and ran up the stairs to me and Taylor's room.

I picked out a white plain bottom, and a pink strapless top. I threw my hair into a messy bun, and put on some sunscreen. I grabbed my phone and a towel, and went back downstairs to see everyone waiting for me.

We got into the car, Josh driving with Ana next to him, and me and Tay in the back. Taylor grabbed my hand as we started to drive and we drove with the radio playing softly playing in the background and no one talking. We were just enjoying each other's company.

I stared out the window and watched as we got closer and closer to our destination.

-

"AND WERE HERE!" Taylor screamed and we all climbed out of the car and raced for the beach. We picked out a spot on the sand, and there was no one really around except for a family with 3 kids, and a guy sitting on a towel, a big hat and sunglasses covering his face.

The guy moved his face slightly, and he started to look familiar.

He looked straight at us, and I recognized who he was.

Matt. Again.

I glared at him and looked back at my friends, who were spreading the towels on the sand.

I felt a pair of arms around my waist, and I was tossed over someone's shoulder.

-

Matt's POV

-

Taylor threw Brooke over his shoulder, and ran towards the freezing cold water. She squealed and kicked and screamed, but he wasn't letting go.

He tossed her into the water, and she hit it with a splash.

Her head quickly came up through the surface, and she hit Taylor playfully.

She looked over at me, and our eyes met for the 3 longest seconds of my life.

Her eyes were a dark brown. They looked like melted choclate and I couldn't help but smile at her. She didn't smile back. I saw a mix of sadness and hope in her eyes, and I knew what she was thinking.

I couldn't do this. I wasn't going to sit there doing nothing. Just staring at her.

I picked up my towel, and left the beach.

-

Taylor's POV

-

I'm not an idiot. I knew that guy was Matthew. And at that moment I wanted to punch him off the face of the Earth. I saw how they were looking at each other.

And I wasn't going to lose her to him.

-

Brooke came out of the bathroom, dressed in a pair of normal jean shorts, and a purple crop top.

I walked over to her. I towered over her, and stared at her. I saw her tense up alittle. She was scared.

Good.

"Don't you dare ever talk or even fucking look at him. I'm not gonna have that bastard take you away. You hear me?" I growled at her, and she took a step back in fear.

"You don't own me. I can't talk to whoever I want Taylor." She crossed her arms.

"Brooke. Your not gonna talk to Matthew. Or we're over."
