The day after I unpacked, it finally happened. I sat down at my keyboard, and I stared at a blank screen. I didn't know what to write.
For the first time in years, I was out of ideas. I had stepped into the short story market with a legion of finished pieces. I'd climbed the top of the best seller list. I had a mantle full of trophies for my efforts. I'd even taken this prestigious writer-in-residence position, which was exactly the point where my creativity had dried up.
I never should have moved into this writer's block!
