A freaking week since I had last seen Nathan.
And I was depressed.
I missed Nathan, I missed him so much and I didn't even really know why.
All I knew was that I needed him more than anyone.
I played with the straw of my coffee, focused on my thoughts.
"Angela, you okay?" I heard Cierra call out.
I quickly nodded at her, glancing around the cafe, the different people that surrounded us. "Yes. Everything is just perfect."
"You don't look too fine. You've been in a sour mood ever since I picked you up earlier," she said.
I shrugged, taking a sip of the Latte. "Nothing is wrong. I just didn't sleep well." Then I asked, "So, wy did you want to meet even?"
Cierra leaned back in her chair, flicking her dark brown hair behind her shoulders. "Well, I haven't seen you for days and I couldn't get a hold of you over the phone. It's turned off. Did you break it or something?"
"Nope. Estrela took my phone and I've been on house arrest for a while. She hasn't let me have any connection with the world for a while."
"You can't be serious. Please, tell me that you are not serious. Why would she do that?"
I slumped against the table, rolling my eyes. "Well, there was this incident when one day I may have gone over to see Nathan and I didn't tell her. I stayed over there for the night, Estrela came to pick me up in the morning then she and I had a little fight."
Cierra smiled. "See. Now don't even try to deny it that you are insanely attracted to him. Because I know damn well that you would never step over Estrela's stupid rules for something that isn't important. You like him, so don't even try to deny it."
"Alright. I may feel something towards him. I mean, how couldn't I? He is a really, really great guy. And he treats me well even if I am the most embarrassing creature ever. And he is super hot which was proved when—shit."
I began to regret my words when Cierra gave me a confused look. "Proved when what?"
My cheeks flushed at her words, at the memory of what appeared.
"Oh my god! Did something happen between you two?" she asked with a gasp. "Holy shit! What happened?"
I covered her mouth with my hand in a hurry so no inappropriate would come out. "Can you hush? We are in a public place. I don't want anyone hearing about my private life."
Cierra's eyes were wide, before a smirk appeared. "Oh my god! You have a private life? Tell me everything."
A blush coated my cheeks, warming them up. "Okay. There may have been a moment between us."
"What moment? Did he dìck you down?"
I chocked on my drink at her words. "Cierra! No, he didn't!"
She folded her arms over her chest, giving me a smirk. "Then what happened? Tell me everything and don't skip a single thing. I want to know it all."
And I told her. I told her everything.
Her eyes were wide as I finished telling her the story. "And then the doorbell rang and interrupted everything."
"Oh my god!" she kept repeating over and over again. "He's into you. He is so into you."
"No, he's not. It was probably just a moment. Nothing else. We were both lost in the moment and didn't even understand anything."
