So my friend, AngusEcrivain, tagged me which means I have to tell you 20 things about me... I gotta keep this running, I don't want my tombstone to read "Died from not revealing 20 things when tagged".
1 - I frequently get that falling down sensation when asleep and always wake up with a fright. I hate it.
2 - I love Arsenal, I have been a fan for ages now even though we didn't win anything for 8 years till the FA cup and Community Shield recently.
3 - I used to play football in school. That is until I broke my knee and was banned from ever playing again. I cried like a baby when the doctor said that. I still occasionally play with friends and come home with a swollen knee. But it's always worth it.
4 - Star Trek: The Next Generation. I think that is the greatest show on earth. Any futuristic sci fi I watch is subconsciously compared to it.
5 - Sir Patrick Stewart is the best actor there is. His role as Scrooge in the adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" was extraordinary, I was almost in tears towards the end.
6 - I have never read the Lord of the Rings and only maybe a handful (probably one hand) classic sci fi books.
7 - "Survival" was a funny thing to write. I never intended to write but did it because of the Pubbers, I am eternally grateful to them lot for that.
8 - Gav (TheOrangutan) was the person who welcomed me here and send me in the direction of the Pub and thus paved the way for some very wonderful friendships, writing and development. I've decided to trouble him for as long as I can.
9 - "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day is probably my favourite song. For some reason it always flows in my head.
10 - I married my high school sweetheart. We were friends and then got together. So yeah, I got out of the friendzone. ;)
11 - I enjoy driving, sometimes I take long drives alone to clear my head.
12 - Mint chocolate chip is the best flavour of ice cream. But I will have anything if it's not available, I just love ice cream.
13 - My passion to be built is trumped by only my passion for food. Food beats six pack hands down.
14 - I read like crazy in a variety of genres. Most of the time, I'm literally lost in my reading and have to be physically shaken to get out of it. (My mum used to hate that, now it's the missus' turn.)
15 - I have realised that I cannot sit still and not do anything even for a little while. At the least I have to read or watch TV. If there is nothing to do, I get fidgety and I'll start rearranging my table or sleep.
16 - Whenever I go home, my brothers and I still play video games till very late night. Sometimes our parents have to literally force us to go to bed.
17 - I am not very comfortable with making new friends in real life. I go beyond my ways to get away from people even if they were past acquaintances. But online, I feel a lot more comfortable with it. Weird.
18 - I almost drowned twice. Once in a river, the other time in a swimming pool. Gotta tell you- the river water didn't taste as bad as the pool water. Nasty.
19 - I lived for almost four years in London as a student, I liked the place. I might go back to visit.
20 - Coffee is a gift from God. I don't know what I would do if I found myself in an alternate universe that didn't have coffee. (There's a story idea for some of you lot. You're welcome. :P)
