"Don't talk like that." Jeremy snapped out. "Sorry, but Y/N you can't say things like that to yourself. They're not true. They're just lies the SQUIP used to break you down. You're strong. You're powerful. You are the opposite of weak and pathetic."
The meds that Derek gave me were kicking in hardcore. He warned us that it would make me drowsy after I taking it. It was becoming harder and harder to stay awake.
"It's gonna be okay. I promise." Jeremy said while he caressed my hair and I fell asleep.

Reader's Dream
I was wearing a homecoming dress. I looked across the school dance floor to see Jeremy in a tux. We both smiled at each other.
I ran over to him in my heels, quite gracefully, if I might add.
He picked me up in his arms and spun me around.
"You look beautiful." Jeremy said. "Like a princess."
I blushed. "Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself." We laughed.
A slow song came over the sound system. "May I have this dance?" Jeremy said, mock-courting me.
"Why of course." I replied.
He led me onto the dance floor and pulled me close to his chest. I laid my head into his shoulder, and closed my eyes, letting myself be enveloped by the moment in its pureness.
Long time no see.
"What'd you say?" I pulled up asking Jeremy.
"Nothing."
"Oh okay. Sorry." I let myself relax and be comforted in Jeremy's arms once again.
You can't escape me Y/N.
"What?"
"I didn't say anything." He paused. "Hey, are you okay?"
"I think so. I'm- I'm just gonna go rinse my face off. Maybe that'll help." I suggested.
"I'll come with you."
"No, it's fine. Just talk to Michael while I'm gone or something. I'm sorry."
"Okay."
I left the Dance and went to girls bathroom.
Yes, because being in a bathroom can protect you from me.
I refused to believe what I knew was happening was happening. I was too terrified.
I looked at myself in the mirror and saw my eyes glow a bright turquoise blue and heard maniacal laughter inside my head. I backed up until I hit the wall.
This can't be happening. No. No. Not again. Jeremy said I was safe. He said everything was gonna be okay.
Jeremy lied to you.
Shut up.
You're pitiful. Pathetic. You're a loser. A failure.
