Chapter 11

We prepared to leave the ark and go back möbius and figure more of this out, with Shadow, me and Sonic

He had fallen asleep on Shadow's lap, he only goes near me or Shadow, Tails too, he doesn't seem to trust anyone else

Tails only because he's still a child, He'll go near Amy if he wants something to east, or to Knuckles because of curiosity of what he knows, he hasn't told me or Shadow anything else yet either

but the thing that confused me, was why he couldn't talk...

"Silver, we're leaving" Blaze said as she snapped me out of my thoughts

"okay" I said as i stood and followed her to our ship,everyone was in their seats, but the little hedgehog sat on Shadow's lap, it was odd honestly

But what Mephilies had said...it got me thinking, what if he was right...? What if I was his son? But... what exactly happened?

We had all gone to the ship and were sitting quietly as Tails started the ship up, but for some reason, i had a feeling that something bad was going to happen sooner or later...and it wouldn't end well, but i slowly fell asleep and was greeted with another dream

"Mum!" The red and black hedgehog whined as he had both his brother and cousin on top of him, The white hedgehog was laughing as the blue hedgehog snickered, their parents only laughed at the sight, but made no attempt the help the 10 year old hedgehog as the 8 and 4 year old continued to tackle him "Maurice! Silver! Get off!'

"Never!" Silver grinned as he stayed on top of the other who only got more annoyed, but neither notice the youngest yawn nor did they near him, because the two started arguing

"Boys" their aunt called out in amusement, "You should try and quiet down"

"Huh?" Silver gave a confused look towards her

"Maurice fell asleep" Silver's mother Madison laughed softly as she watched her son and nephew look over to Maurice who had fallen asleep on top of Shadow While they had been playing

"Oh" Silver mumbled as he watched his uncle walk over with a smile and picked the sleeping four year old up carefully, as Silver got off of Shadow who huffed and stood up

"It was time for him to sleep anyways, since you boys had dinner earlier than usual" Malice chuckled, and went upstairs to put his son to bed

"Mum?" Silver asked

"yes sweetheart?" Madison smiled at him

"Why can't Maurice make any sound? i mean i know he can't talk, but why?" Silver frowned as he asked, Madison frowned too as she sighed

"it's just something that happened Silver, he was...just born like it, there was nothing anyone could do to help him, but theres other people like him, but no matter what I know you and shadow will protect him if there are some mean kids who make him sad" Madison gave a small smile

"Bu-" Silver was cut off when Mephilies crouched down next to him

"We know" he said "But sometimes things happen and they can't be helped, but like your mother said, you and Shadow will always be there for him, and that will never change"
