I've been trying to get my friend to watch Trollhunters for ages but she just won't. I think that books, movies and tv shows with good plots can be enjoyed by any age group, regardless of the rating (unless it's like rated R and one is not old enough to view it). Like, one of my favourite movies is How To Train Your Dragon, and although it's meant for kids, it has a great plot and it's very inspiring. People shouldn't judge literature by the age rating, but by the content.
