What is that thing , holy crap ..... Its a monster , with an eagle's head , three eyes , massive claws , and a huge gigantic dark pair of wings .... Must focus , like Thod-Pa taught me , don't trust senses , use inner eyes ...

The way up , seems clear .. Poor Frank , it was never easy for Frank to be Eric Simmons' little brother , it started in school , and carried on when he started to climb . Everyone compared him to me . I just wish he'd stop competing with me , he's brilliant enough on his own .... Maybe I was too hard on him , pushed him too much , I only wanted what was best , but maybe I just did everything wrong .... Frank is really going to be pissed off if I have to pull his ass out of the fire , again ! Maybe if we both come through this alive , things will be different between Frank and me , we could be friends again ...... That's it then , sounds like I'm going in for some hard knocks , but if the Goddess is still undecided , there's hope for Frank , presuming I haven't gone stark raving mad , I must go to Nyen-Di-Ki-Buk monastery , I must find Thod-Pa ....
