Chapter 6: Trash

It didn't go anywhere beyond a kiss, no matter how much I wanted it to. But even if it had, we wouldn't have gotten very far because a millisecond after Tony pulled away, my phone rang. I sighed.

"Answer it." Tony said, "Its okay."

I nodded. "Hello."

"Noel!" Clint's voice was panic stricken at the other end of the line, "Its true! You're awake."

"Yeah. Hi Clint." I smiled and got off the couch so I wouldn't be distracted by Tony, "I miss you."

"I miss you too, do you mind telling me where you are?" Clint replied calmly,

"In New York." I said shakily,

I heard Clint almost drop the phone, "You're with Stark aren't you?"

I didn't deny, nor confirm. "Well I couldn't exactly stay on the hellicarrier, Clint."

"And why not?"

"Because I'm a science experiment, Clint!" I exclaimed, "Everyone has been lying to me for my entire life. I don't even know what I am!"

"I'm as in the dark as you are!" Clint replied, "Just because you're mad a Fury doesn't mean you run away from the rest of us."

"I'm sorry." I apologised. "I'll be back as soon as I can." At that moment, Tony snuck up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, nestling his head in the crook of my neck. I jumped in surprise but kept my composure on the phone.

"Why can't you come back now, Elle?" I could practically hear Clint's pout over the phone.

"I just...I need..." I couldn't think straight, most of that was thanks to Tony who'd started leaving a trail of kisses down my neck. "I need time."

Clint sighed, "Fine. But don't do anything stupid with Tony or I'll cut his balls off."

Tony chuckled at that and whispered in my ear, "Tell him he can try."

My breath caught my throat as Tony's breath tickled my ear. "He...He said you can try."

Clint ignored that comment. "I'll call you later, Fury's pissed."

"Don't tell him where I am!" I exclaimed before the line went dead and Tony pulled my phone out of my hands, swivelling my whole body around so he could kiss me on the lips and I kissed back without hesitation.

"It's seven AM in New York, the weather is fifteen degrees and the traffic is terrible, as usual." I jumped as the lights switched on and JARVIS' voice popped out of no where.

"Oh, morning JARVIS." I mumbled into my pillow.

"Good morning, Ms. Barton." The metallic voice replied as I groaned and rolled over remembering the events of last night. We hadn't go very far, but it was enough to have my shirt missing. I rolled out of bed and threw Tony's Black Sabbath t-shirt over my underwear and went looking for him.

"Tony?" I called out, reaching the lounge room. "Hey, Tony?"

There were no replies, until I tried to open up the keypad that would let me into Tony's workshop. A loud buzzing noise went off like an alarm before JARVIS' voice said, "You are not authorised to access this area."

I sighed and turned around to find myself looking at a man with brown hair wearing a suit. He cleared his throat, "That's JARVIS, he runs the house."

"Yeah, I know." I replied.

The man ignored my reply and continued on, "I have your clothes here. They've been dry cleaned and pressed. There's a car outside waiting to take you anywhere you want to go."

I frowned, "Um, I don't know what anyone else has told you but I'm not leaving." The man didn't seem to have a reply to that, but that's when I realised who he was. "You must be Happy. Aren't you sick of picking up after Tony?"

Okay, so the guy probably didn't deserve that jab but he was asking me to leave as if I were some cheap hooker.

Happy replied coldly, "I do anything and everything that Mr. Stark requires. Including, occasionally, taking out the trash."

I stared at him wide eyed, "Excuse me? Did you just call me trash?"

Happy smirked, "Yeah. Yeah I did, you got a problem with it?"

Without thinking, I swung a punch that landed on the ride side of his jaw, stuck my leg out and tripped him. I replied menacingly, "Yes. I have a big problem with it."

At that moment, Tony decided to step out of the elevator with a brown paper bag and a tray of coffees in hand. Tony looked good, he had jeans on and yet another band t-shirt with his black sunglasses. He looked up and saw Happy on the ground.

"Jesus, what happened?" Tony exclaimed.

"He called me trash!" I exclaimed just as Happy yelled; "She's crazy!"

Tony sighed and rolled his eyes, "Happy, she's not trash, she's my crazy girlfriend."

Happy got off the ground and he stared at Tony like it was some practical joke. To make things worse, he started laughing. "Oh, good one, Mr. Stark."

Tony glared at him, "Not joking, Happy."

This seemed to sober him up, "Oh."

Authors Note: Okay, so yeah, stole the dialogue for the last part from the first Iron Man movie but I thought it would be fun! So, nothing much happened in this chapter but the next chapter (which will be up later tonight) has quite a bit of action in it.

So, what do you guys think of Tony & Noel?

What about Happy?

What about Clint?

Yeah...that's just about all I can ask you guys lol.

Next chapter is coming really really soon!

Until then, comment, vote, like!
