Andy doesn't talk about Hunter in front of Brayden. She leans against the wall menacingly. Brayden, who is seated on the bed beside me, doesn't see the look his mother is giving me. I know she's angry, but I don't care. Talking to Hunter gave me clarity and made me realize that I need to do something soon. There is no use beating around a bush or avoiding the inevitable. Hunter avoided his feelings for me and everything exploded. I can't avoid things anymore. I need to get out of this hospital room and get it over with already. As if he reads my mind, a doctor comes in.

"Hold on, little guy. Let's see what the doctor has to say."

Brayden listens and closes his mouth. Andy is also invested in hearing what the doctor has to say.

"Ms. Knight, we'd like to take you up for your test now. A nurse will be in in a second to escort you upstairs."

"Okay. Do you have any idea when I'm going to get out of here?"

"Your test will answer that question."

He leaves and I look at Andy.

"I'll tell the doctor this too, but I want you to know the results of the test. Even though it's only a psych evaluation, I still want him to explain anything that's wrong with me."

"You are just fine, Skye. Don't put yourself down. There's nothing wrong with you."

"Actually, Andy, I've sensed something wrong with me for a while now. I'm constantly moody and anxious and I've had an increase in nightmares."

She looks defeated and concerned. A nurse enters, effectively ending our conversation.
