Sighing heavily I ran a hand down my head and waved my hand for Robyn to step inside of my office. It was the close of business for the day and a woman, who wasn't a customer of ours, wanted to give me hell. Thankfully, I had answered her call because had Robyn answered she'd be sending an email on how unprofessional she handled her.

"Ma'am, I understand your frustration, but my company does not travel more than ten hours. You may want to just rent a U-Haul. That's my only suggestion."

"You can shove your suggestion up your ass ma'am!" she spat before hanging up in my face.

Chuckling, I leaned back in my chair. "All in a day's work."

"Who the hell was that?" Robyn laughed sitting in one of the chairs placed in front of my desk.

"Some lady is upset because she wanted us to make a fifteen-hour drive. That wasn't happening. Are you heading out for the day?"

"Not yet. Carter said Ms. Maraj would be stopping by with a complaint," she said with a smirk on her face.

"What are you making that face for?"

Robyn sat up some in her seat, and I already knew she was on bullshit. I'd known Robyn for over a decade now and knew when she up to something. Two years older than her at thirty years old, there wasn't much she had done in her lifetime that I didn't know about. When her sister, Rachel, passed away Robyn's sophomore year of high school, which was my senior year, I took her in.

Robyn could have easily been going on the wrong direct, and at one point of her life had been, but I knew Rachel wanted more for her. Right after college, my grandparents made me the owner of their moving company, I changed the name and made Robyn co-owner. She had a job on the side, but this was our pride and joy.

Hearing that someone needed to come in and make a complaint didn't sit right with me. Especially since Ms. Maraj, or Onika rather, was a new client of ours.

"What's said complaint about?" I asked, looking through the notes on my iPad. Carter hadn't left anything yet, so it had to be a personal reason.

"Shit, I don't even know. Why didn't you tell me she was that fine?" she said, and I gave a shrug.

"Figured you see her soon enough. You didn't deliver her furniture to her place with Carter and the rest?"

"Nah."

"So, how you see her?" I said as I stopped looking at my screen to face her.

I was being territorial; I'll admit that.

Onika was beautiful, thick in all the right places and fresh off a breakup. I was taking her not accepting my request for that reason alone. Robyn grinned, and I knew all too well what the facial expression meant.

"You already know how I saw her. It wasn't on purpose either. She came onto me and you know that's not how I normally get down."

My brow lifted questioningly. "It's not?"

"No. Not at work. Ever. It was just something about her man," she said as this look I've never seen appeared in her eyes.
