Eyes Closed (Chaelisa)

Chapter 2

Rosé POV

I woke up in the middle of the night and felt someone's head on my chest. I looked down and saw Lisa snuggling up to me.

"Lisa you're on the wrong bed, yours is on the other side." (We're roommates). I said.

She hugged me tighter and said "Chaeng-ah, let me sleep here tonight. We didn't get to hang out today and you even skipped dinner. I missed you." I sighed in defeat and hugged her in return. Humming the song Can't Help Falling In Love as I stroked her hair. After a few minutes, I hear her soft breaths and was sure she had already fallen asleep.

"Good night Lisa". I kissed her forehead and closed my eyes drifting off to sleep.

...

"Chaeng-ah! Chaeng-ah!" she said while shaking me awake.

"Lisa-yah it's too early, I'm still sleepy."

"Let's eat breakfast my chipmunk Rosie!" she said while pulling me out of bed.

"Noooo." I cooed.

I screamed when I felt her hands around me. She was carrying me like a princess.

"Ya Lalisa! Stop." I said in between laughs.

When we got out of the room, she finally put me down and held my hands pulling me towards the hotel restaurant.

My eyes sparkle as I saw the rows and rows of food before me. I let go of Lisa and ran towards the nearest food station. I grab a plate and started stuffing my plate with food. I sat at a secluded table in the corner and started eating happily.

"Rosie you left me." Lisa said while pouting, doing her signature aegyo voice.

"I forgot for a minute that you were with me". I said while laughing.

"You always choose food over me." she said while crossing her arms.

I unconsciously mumble in a barely audible voice "And you always choose Jennie-unnie over me."

"You said something Chaeyoung ah?" She asked.

"I was just saying how the food is so good so of course I would choose it over you besides you always leave me." I quipped jokingly.

I see her put down her chopsticks and looked directly to my eyes. I see a serious gaze that I haven't seen before.

"I would never leave you Chaeng, I'll always be by your side you know that." She said in all seriousness.

I couldn't respond as I felt my heart beat getting faster for some reason. I swallowed my food and had to drink water. I then nodded at her and smiled. She seemed to accept my nod as my agreement to her statement and started eating happily as well.

"So what did you, Jisoo-unnie, and Jennie-unnie did after the rehearsal?" I asked.

"We just went to a Japanese restaurant and ate sushi. We even brought you food in case you might be hungry but you were already asleep when we arrived." She said.

"Chaeng-ah, is everything okay?" She asked?

I turned my head a bit in confusion?
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"You were acting different yesterday. We got worried about you". She said while playing with her food.

"I'm okay, just tired I guess. My head suddenly hurt after singing Halsey's Eyes Closed. I hope the Blinks will like my performance tomorrow." I nervously said.

"I'm sure they'll love it. The way you sang yesterday was beautiful, more beautiful than any of the songs we have. Somehow I felt a lot of emotions when I heard you sing that."

"You did?" I asked in shock. I thought she was busy playing with Jennie-unnie.

"She sure did. She even had tears on her eyes while listening to you. I was laughing my heart out." Jisoo-unnie suddenly said joining our conversation. I see Lisa looking down a bit shy at Jisoo-unnie's confession.

"Limario! Chaeyoung-ie! You didn't even invite us for breakfast." Jisoo-unnie was pouting and I found it cute.

"Unnie! We forgot and when I saw the food I immediately started eating. Please don't be mad my cute and loving unnie" I grabbed Jisoo-unnie's hand and acted with a bit of aegyo while saying sorry.

"Hmp, fine. Me and Jendeuk will just grab some food. Wait for us!" Jisoo-unnie and Jennie-unnie smiled and walked to the food station hand-in-hand.

"Lisa-yah, why did you cry when you heard me sing?" I asked curiously.

Her face was a bit shocked at the question and it felt like she wasn't prepared to be asked that question.

"I uhhh, I'm not sure, I was just listening to you and I was so engrossed with your performance that I didn't even know I was crying. I only realized I had tears in my eyes when your voice cracked from crying. Somehow your song did something for me. I swear it did." She said looking a bit confused and unsure.

"Yeah, I think that's what the song does. Even I cried, it probably does something to people. The song means so much to me, I don't know but I feel like I really relate to this song." I said.

The unnies arrived and we ate our food happily. A long day of practice is ahead of us. Only 1 day left till the concert.

I started this story because I desperately wanted a Chaelisa story that still revolves around Blackpink. Hopefully I do it justice.
