He was happy for them.
"And with the power invested in me, I pronounce you, husband and wife."
He was happy for them.
The android and the human embraced each other as they locked eyes then kissed, basically finalizing the fact that they were officially married.
He was happy for them.
It's what Connor had to keep telling himself.
It's what he had to continue to think, with a fake smile planted on his face.
Since he was Markus' best man and all, of course he had to be supportive. Because what kind of best friend wouldn't?
Connor just smiled, as he watched the love of his life get taken away from him, forever.
"Till death do us part."
That's how long he had to wait.
Until death.
Until the death of an android that can't possibly die naturally unless it overheats or looses to much thirium, or until the death of the person he wanted to be with in the first place.
Connor watched as they walked together down the aisle, real smiles of pure happiness and love on their faces.
He had to hide the jealousy inside of him. It was like he wore a mask, to disguise the pain he felt.
But he had to just smile.
Because he was happy for them.
