Kayleigh's pov

I wake up in bed the next morning to the sound of voices coming from the living room. I pull on a t shirt and sweats and walk out to see Shawn and Andrew speaking quietly. Andrew looks up and stops talking. "Morning." He says and I smile, not quite awake yet.

I stand over Shawn's shoulder and lean against him. "How's it going?" I ask them.

"Not too bad, it doesn't seem like too much damage has been done so I think a statement on social media will be enough and then an interview later in the week maybe." Andrew says which is good.

I let them finish their meeting and go shower and get ready for the day. Once I've done everything I open my phone to see Shawn has posted on both twitter and Instagram. He posted a picture of us from last night with the caption:
I know you guys are probably confused about what you have heard the last day or two. The story is true, I did cheat on Kayleigh. Luckily for me she is an amazing person and we have found a way to look past everything that has happened between us, and I love her more than anything. I know many of you have also heard about Kayleigh getting in a fight with a Lauren last night. Kayleigh felt betrayed and acted on it, and I'm sorry if she upset anybody. Kay and I are doing well and would really appreciate if you would all respect our privacy while we deal with this. Thank you❤️

I don't think Shawn wants to talk about it anymore so I don't bring it up when I go back to the kitchen. "Wanna go out tonight?" He asks.

"What are you thinking?"

"Brian said they're planning on going to Petty Cash. I'm down if you are." He says and I sit down on the stool behind him.

"Yeah I'll go." I look at my planner and realize that I have some assignments I have to hand in this week, so I should probably get working on them.

I go in the office and sit down at the computer with my books. I manage to get quite a bit done however it did take me a few hours. I walk back out to find Shawn fast asleep on the couch, halfway through an episode of Greys Anatomy.

I kneel down in front of him and lightly rub his arm. "Baby, we should get ready if we're going out tonight."

He mumbles in response and I say it again. "I need ten more minutes." He whispers as he pulls me up onto the couch and spoons me. He wraps his arm tightly around me and I stroke it with my hand. His head nuzzles into the back of my neck and I can feel his breathe against my skin.

"Okay, lets go," I whisper to Shawn. Her moans but gets up and I follow. "I'm not going to drink tonight I don't think, so tell the guys they don't need to get a cab."

"Okay if you're sure."

We leave about Ian hour later to pick everybody up. The night goes by quite quickly, Shawn has more than enough to drink and is laughing and dancing all over the place, trying to drag me onto the dance floor. "Cmon Kay,"

I giggle and try to resist but he's much stronger than I am. He puts his hands on my hips and begins to sway with me to the music. "I am so in love with you," he whispers in my ear, and everytime he says something like that I just fall more and more in love with him.

"I love you," he brings his lips down to mine and kisses me deeply.

"Do you wanna know something?" He asks and I nod. "I'm going to marry you one day. You're the girl of my fricken dreams and I'm never going to let you go."

"That sounds like a plan to me," I reply and he kisses me again.

Somebody taps me on the shoulder and I turn around to find Lauren looking at me. I stare at her for a moment before turning back towards Shawn. She taps me again and I turn towards her and say sharply, "I have nothing to say to you."

"Kayleigh, please I'm sorry, I really don't know why I did that." She says and starts to annoy me.

"Yeah I really don't know why you did either, now please leave us alone." I know I may have been a little harsh but honestly, that was a dick move. And she should feel bad about it.

She turns around and walks away and Shawn looks at me with pity. "Let's not talk about it," I say. He nods and pulls me close to him again and starts dancing.

About an hour later the guys are all ready to go so I drive them home and then Shawn and I head home ourselves. I look over to him and see that he has his eyes closed. I run my hand up and down his arm as I drive. "You know I meant what I said," he mumbles.

"What about?"

"About marrying you," he turns his head and looks at me. "I'm going to marry you."

"I believe you, and I look forward to it." He smiles and shuts his eyes again. I help him into the condo and he falls asleep almost instantly.

I look at him and wonder how I managed to get so lucky.
