Chapter Fifteen

"What? W-waiit II diidnt thiink you would want to go on a date today" he said confused.

"I mean what better time to go. Unless you want to stay here and probably win. I wouldnt stop you." I said truthfully

"(Y/n) II dont even care about wiinniing thii2 2tupiid tournament! II only came here to be wiith you..." Sollux said seeming a little nervous.

I stopped, completely speechless.

I looked down at my feet for a moment as my face heated slightly.

"Can we just go? I dont care where I just dont wanna be here anymore." I said quietly

I felt his fingers intertwine with my own as he held my hand.

I looked up at him somewhat confused, there was a soft...caring grin on his face.

"Okay" he said in a nice tone

Oh goddddd here are the feelings again.

I blushed harder and looked back to my feet as we walked toward the sign in/out area and we both withdrew, then leaving the building.

It was still light outside, almost sunset though.

The air was cool as it hit my face, but not cold. It felt nice, nice enough to make me stop blushing so much.

Neither of us owned a car, so we walked. We walked slowly, silently.

"IIm gonna mii22 day2 liike thii2 2omeday..." he said quietly, in fact so softly that it hadn't broken the calmness of our silence.

"Its not like we are going to college next year. I mean I guess we will the year after but still, thats what today is for...right? Memory making and...living." I responded, just as softly

"Besides, youre really gifted with technology. Im sure you dont have much to worry about in regards to your future..." I said, then glancing at him

"II--Thank2? IIt'2 a liitle more compliicated than iit 2eem2 though.." he said, then running his hand through his dark hair.

"Maybe it wont be so complicated if I understand it?" I said in just about the nicest tone ive ever used.

Bruh what even is happening to me. Im supposed to be the stoic badass nerd girl.

He laughed before looking at me, "that2 a 2tory for another day. IIm flattered you care though" he said happily

I blushed, "w-what? Tch! Curiosity and Concern are two different concepts Sollux" I argued

"Doe2nt mean that they arent two bee2 of the 2ame hiive though." He said casually with a prideful smirk.

I looked at him angrily before turning away, i knew i couldnt argue that. "Whatever" I said.

There was more silence for a while, until i noticed...i wasnt really sure where we were

"Uhh...where are we going?" I asked with a touch of concern

"Diid you even pay attentiion two where KK wa2 goiing on the niight of the party? We are goiing two my hou2e" Sollux said

My eyes widened slightly, "what?! Why??" I asked worriedly

"(Y/n) you 2aiid anywhere and II dont feel liike goiing anywhere el2e. Be2iide2, II have to check on my brother anyway" he said simply

I kinda wondered what was up with his brother to be honest. I thought the dude was his older brother anyway soo...

"Oh....okay then.." I said.

See uhh....he kinda got drunk and kissed a whole FEFERI PEIXES at that damned party. But it doesnt matter, ill just go and have war flashbacks and regret my life choices
