I sit in the back of an Uber with my team for my record label as we drive on the highway in Austin, Texas after a meeting with Pandora. I just locked in a deal with them to have all of my artists music on their app. Now we're on the way back to the hotel, so we can get ready for tonight because Saweetie's performing on the Pandora stage at South by Southwest.

"What time is Saweetie's set?" I ask Athena who is sitting in the seat next to me.

"She goes on at 10p.m."

I look over at Athena chuckling as she looks at her iPad with a straight face. Ever since she got pregnant she went from being the patient, caregiver to being easily annoyed with an attitude always on 10. It's going to be a long road not only for Glock, but for me as well since we work so closely. It's only the first trimester, but Glock warned me that she hasn't been coping with the bodily changes that come with pregnancy very well.

"Have you talked to her today?" I ask making her look at me with agitation.

"Yeah, she got in last night. She's at sound check right now. When was the last time you talked to her? You don't talk to your artists?" She asks.

"Shit, her release party. She went on vacation after her EP came out then she's been out of town doing shows. She hasn't been answering my calls and texts like I'm not her boss or as if I'm the one who did something wrong. She's the one who caused that damn scene with Desdemona."

"Should've never had sex with her," Athena says bluntly like there's not other people in the car.

I loo at Athena side ways saying, "Quit tellin' my damn business."

"Everybody knows! You think people don't gossip around the office," I look around the car but all my employees are acting like they're minding their business with their faces in their phones.
