July: gonna be honest, I don't know any July memes. I found some July memes but I honestly don't remember hearing anything about them.
August: the reveal of King K Rool, arguably the best reveal of all time. I loved the memes out of that. Jonny Jonny yes papa is stupid. Jojo siwa was a meme? Ok then... Also, rip Stefan Karl.

September: Bongo cat and thanos car were okay. I don't understand the Bowsette thing and I don't want to know. This smash direct (imo) was the least meme-iest and probably my least favorite (I'm fine that Isabelle is in the game but I don't like her playstyle) but I did like Etika's reaction. Whoops, went off topic a bit.
October: aka Spooktober. I was confused on moth and lamp memes until after spooktober was over. I think they're all right. This is the time of the birth of tik tok and the rebirth of sans memes. Tik tok is pure cringe, that's all I have to say (I totally don't unironically listen to maybe I'll be tracer). I didn't realize the "this post was made by the (x) gang" was a thing until recently, some of those are really funny.
November: world of light memes. I don't care how unoriginal they are, they're still funny. And there was also the grinch leaking smash bros. Not sure if it's a meme or not. Voiceover Pete was the second best meme to come from November. Sprite cranberry was good too. They did surgery on a grape was funny on the first day, then got annoying seeing "they did surgery on a grape" in the comment sections. Then there was no nut november. It got really annoying seeing "i just failed no nut november" in every single comment section, much more annoying than the grape.
December: a historical month, because not only was youtube rewind was terrible enough to be the most disliked video, but possibly the most anticipated game of this year finally came out: Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It's a very good game, everyone's very content with it. Also we have more memes to come out of the game. Back to rewind memes. All these memes of "youtube rewind but it's actually good" popped up everywhere and these 2 are my favorite:
But of course, it's really annoying to see on every comment section on these "this is better than the actual rewind" well considering it's the most disliked video ever to be made, then everything is better than it. Big chungus is good too. I don't have much to say about it.
Also I know I'm biased towards the smash direct memes. What can I say? I've been hyped ever since March and each direct got me more and more hyped. Somehow the community found something to poke at, and now we have the greatest and meme-iest Smash Bros game of all time.
