Her nose wouldn't stop bleeding. Every few minutes a drop would trickle down and blur her screen. She thumbed it off and pulled up the data on her current bounty.
"Engage projection. Voiceover on."
A pale blue light flashed from the data-pack. The information was projected in front of her and the computer started to read off the stats.
High-guard Andrais Hetan. Former Head of Security of Delta Four also known as the Diamond Mines, wanted for multiple counts of larceny, forgery & assault. Last known residence...
"Computer, give me a list of all properties High-guard Hetan owns and leases under his name and all known aliases.
Compiling.
She pulled out a vial filled with milky gray liquid, loaded it into the innoc-gun and gave herself a boost in the thigh.
List compiled.
"On screen."
Twelve addresses appeared.
"That it, huh?"
Yes.
She rolled her eyes, "Rhetorical question."
Understood.
"Address number four, what is the closest quadrant for that location?"
This residence is closest to the Centuri Quadrant.
"Interesting. The one with extradition agreements...with no one."
That is correct. Since its inception...
"Yeah, yeah, I already know the history. Given all known data on High-guard Hetan, what is the probability he would flee to this location?"
Probability is 93.4%
"I would've thought it'd be higher."
Given that you are not an XP Model Z-5 Class, you would not have the capabilities to make an accurate deduction.
She narrowed her eyes at the screen. "Disengage." She put away her data deck and looked out the window. Overhead the conductor's voice announced, "Next stop, Iris 3. You may transfer at this point for the space shuttles to Sageville, Seer Prime and the Centuri Quadrant. Please enjoy your trip and thank you for making Galactic Glide your choice in intergalactic travel."
A silver gleam sparkled in her eyes.
"Got ya".
The docking station was loud, crowded and chaotic, like it always was. People were racing to make their connecting flights, Aerobuses and copters vied for the best position to pick up fares and conductors' voices boomed for people to step in or get smashed between the doors. She was in such a good mood that she only knocked down two of the many people that got in her way.
Her private transport stopped in front of a newly renovated building. She stepped out. In her right hand she held a sleek silver case. She pulled down her shades and peered over the rim. She blinked rapidly as her gaze scanned the street up and down saving images. She pushed the shades back into place and walked up to the front door.
Please identify yourself.
She bent down and spoke into the intercom.
