Patch and Troy push through the crowd at ease with the majority of them all in this strange trance. They edge towards the Goddess, stopping to look around at everyone as they attempt to break up the trance circle.

"Steve! Hey, Steve! What the fuck man?" Troy said, slapping him on his face gently.

Steve didn't move, instead, he just stood there smiling awkwardly at him while swaying his head.

Troy looks at the Goddess knelt on the floor; she is still holding her head and crying. He walks quickly towards her holding his hands out, moving slowly and cautiously as he gets closer to try and comfort her, at the same time the look of disbelief and caution is etched on his face.

Patch is still trying to wake up the trance circle, shaking people and waving his hands in front of their faces. He takes beer bottles out from their hands and starts pouring beer over people but they don't flinch, he can't lift the small girl that has blood pouring down her face as she sobs and continues to pull at her legs, she is tiny and it would normally be easy for him but he can't budge her even an inch as she continues to panic.

The doormen look at each other bewildered in disbelief at what they are seeing happen right in front of them.

Troy bends a knee at the side of the Goddess.

"Miss, can you come with me, please?" He says with authority, placing his hand firmly on the back of her left arm.

The Goddess has what looks like a strange smudge like a slow-motion heat wave that covers her entire body, and in an instant a shockwave throws Troy backwards ten feet into the trance circle, knocking many people over on top of him.

Everyone that's stood at the front perimeter of the circle has been knocked back a few feet into the crowd by this circular wave, creating a domino effect as people fall onto one another quickly in a circular chain reaction, and as they fall they are slammed back into consciousness and unable to move.

The girls who have woken from their trance are screaming and crying out insults in a desperate choir of noise. They are shaking, slapping and pushing their boyfriends who are yet to wake, trying desperately to help them snap out of this trance but to no avail.

The screaming, hysterical girls start to collapse one after another, they don't seem to take a breath, it's as though they are dropping dead with one last lungful of scream.

Patch is shouting for Troy emotionally, desperately struggling to lift people who are now dead weight, laid on top of his best friend squashing him.

Chris looks for Steve to see if he is going to help the Goddess, his only concern is her...no one else seems to matter, only Steve's gone, there's no sign of him in the chaos. Chris while starting to snap out of his own obsession starts to panic as he can't see Steve anywhere.

The main club doors slam and lock at the same time. The music slows and stops like a record being scratched as the lights and power dies out.

The Goddess now glowing in the cries of darkness comes back into focus, the heat wave around her absorbs into her skin. Her hair is stuck to the front of her face; she looks as though she has just gotten out of the shower. Her sweat is dripping profusely and covers her glistening body, her hair is soaked and stuck to her breasts and shoulders, her eyes are glowing green with a black line in the middle like a lizard.

The room fills with a foul smell; it's like nothing Chris or anyone else has experienced before, it would be better to choke on your own vomit than take a breath. It's a mixture of faeces, vomit, death and rot, even then it doesn't begin to come close to explain how terrible of a smell it is.
