Fear can be a first-rate stool pigeon, a valuable safeguard or a wise counselor. If it overwhelms us, we do better not to shrink back and sulk, but crystallize our potentials, think forward and objectify our goals.
Fear has always been a very important whistle-blower. Our emotion and our history can provoke fear that may arrest us at any time or at any place. Above and beyond, fear might be contagious and its scent, sometimes sensual, sometimes mystical or animal, can exude the musty and arcane smell of destiny.
Fear can be passed on to others and, similar to the fear of flying, its smell can be sensed by people in outlandish places or particular situations.
Its apprehension may be nasal or actuated through our brain, our memory or the sensorial spread, and not at the least through a sixth sense.
Chemical signs and secrete pheromonal codes, which are released by the body, when people are anxious or terrified, can be smelled by others and can even rouse panic in their brains. Frightened people give off "pheromones" - hormones - that subliminally activate parts of the brain, which are linked with fear.
A concealed natural element in the behavior of individuals and groups can discharge emotional stress that can become 'contagious.'
A place may still radiate fear after decades. The way we perceive it will be experienced quite individually; and depend on the personal sentiment and the narrative of our past.
