What is #makeITsafePH?
According to “Feature Iloilo” facebook post, the #makeITsafePH campaign takes off from earlier Globe efforts to promote online vigilance among the public and protect them from becoming victims of online hacking, identity theft and other cybercrimes. Various studies show that a significant number of Filipino youth have fallen victim to online abuse or crime which caused emotional, mental, or physical harm. For instance, the public-private-civic-academic coalition DQ Institute said last year that 73% of young Filipinos were exposed to at least one cyber risk specifically cyber bullying, online sexual behavior, and meeting with cyber friends, among others.
To spread awareness and fun, Globe and Wattpad’s #makeITsafePH campaign comes up with an exciting contest! This is for all aspiring writers out there!
Tungkol ba saan ang content?
*Gumawa ng isang informative na mga essay o pwede naman ay maiksing istorya na mayroong 500-1000 words. Ang topic ay dapat na naaayon sa campaign na #makeITsafePH.
Hanggang kalian ipapasa?
*November 28, 2018 to January 9, 2019 ang submission ng entry.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Ang iyong kuwento ay maaaring nakasulat sa English, Tagalog o Taglish.
2. Ang iyong entry ay dapat naka-post sa iyong sariling Wattpad account.
3. Ang mga mananalo ay dapat na legal residents of the Philippines at higit sa 13 taong gulang sa oras na nagpasa ng entry.
4. Maaari kang magpasa nang higit sa isang kuwento.
5. Ang kuwentong isasali ay dapat original at ikaw mismo ang gumawa.
6. Ang iyong mga entry ay dapat may tag na #makeITsafePH at #WritingContest na ipopost mismo sa iyong wattpad account.
*Ang TOP 10 STORIES na mapipili ng ating mga Wattpad Staff at ng Globe ay makatatanggap ng P5,000 worth of Globe Prepaid Call Cards.
