Song of chapter: Happier — Marshmallow

"You okay?" Tanner jogged over to me, "That was a pretty hard hit, who threw it?" He asked.
"Take a guess" I handed him the ball, he scanned it and his features laced with confusion at first, then it hit him. "I'm not getting rid of him anytime soon, right?"
"I don't think so" He said, I stared at the other guys and they looked confused, I don't blame them.
"I remember a time of my life where this would've been 'weird'" I said to myself, Tanner gave me a tight smile.
"You're a strong girl, Daisy" He said, and handed me back the ball. "Don't let him get the best of you" He added, and jogged back to the team.
I honestly felt warm because of his words, I smiled at him jogging back. I looked down on the ball that hit me in the head, and turned to my brother Cody sitting on the bleachers.
"What was that?" He asked, I threw him the ball, he caught it and examined it, "It's that Zack boy again?" I nodded, he rolled his eyes.
I turned to the team again, "Let's carry on bears!" I yelled, and practiced went on.

"Hey, Daisy, we're going to the fry-cade today, come with?" James asked Daisy after practice.
Let's say, I have never seen Daisy look more shocked. "Did you hit your head in practice?" She asked, I chuckled at that.
"No, it's you who did that" James said, amusement in his eyes.
"So, you'll come with?" I asked, she nodded, with a smile. "Cool, want me to drive you?" I asked.
