"Come on, bestie," Cierra exclaimed as she dragged me inside the house, holding onto me tightly. "You are going to be needing plenty of rest since you look like crap."
I laughed as I followed her to the living room, smiling slightly. "Thank you for your kind words."
Cierra laughed as she helped me lie down on the couch, pulling the soft blanket over me. "So, I got your laptop so you can watch all the right shows. You can even catch up on Riverdale, since you haven't watched it, even though you've promised me a million times that you would."
"Thank you, Cierra, I really appreciate it."
"No biggie," she said simply while shaking it off as she took a seat on the couch also. "I just can't believe that Estrela ditched you already to hang out with Kenneth."
I sighed as I got comfortable on the couch. "Yeah. But just because she did then it doesn't mean that you need to fill in for her. You don't have to do this, you know that? I'm fine, I promise."
Cierra rolled her eyes as she pulled her legs against her chest while wrapping her arms around them. "Well, you are my best friend so it is my duty to take care of you. Besides, you were missing for a pretty while so it's the least that I can do."
I smiled tightly at her. "Thank you, for everything."
She soothed out the blanket that was over me, smiling. "So you were telling me what happened back at Nathan's place."
"It was probably the most awkward moment of my life," I admitted while my cheeks flushed red.
"Then you definitely have to tell me."
"I want to go home," I lied with a forced smile.
The seconds those words escaped my mouth, Nathan's smile fell almost immediately.
Kenneth seemed shocked.
Estrela's eyes brightened with happiness and something else that I couldn't tell. "Awesome!"
My eyes couldn't meet Nathan's because they were filled with disbelief, hurt and a bit of disappointment.
But it felt as if in seconds, I had been grabbed.
I squealed in shock as I slammed straight into Nathan's back. I was shocked from the sudden act, of his behavior change. "What the hell? She is not leaving."
Estrela and Kenneth were also surprised by Nathan's sudden change of attitude, of his little act. "What do you think you're doing?" Estrela snapped.
Nathan backed away a little when Estrela took a step forwards, his grip tightened on my wrist a little. "She is not leaving."
"Angela wanted to leave, so you can't stop her. It is her choice anyways."
It surprised me when Nathan barked out a humorless laugh. "Her choice? Are you fućking kidding me?"
My eyes widened at the strong language that he let out, since he didn't seem like the type of person to swear.
"She is coming home, with me. She decided it herself," Estrela said in a strict tone.
Nathan didn't seem to give a single care about it because he just laughed it off. "She can't fućking decide for herself, can't you see that?" he shouted, making me jump. "She was missing for weeks, has been through shit that she doesn't even remember and you think that she can make a choice on her own?"
