Summary- chanyeol proposes to baekhyun at the mamas and they tell some hints they never told anyone before and baekhyun announces something to chanyeol at the interview
Chanyeol and baekhyun have been together since 2009. That's a long time especially since they are still quite young. They were 17 when they got together. They were each other's first everything.
Today was the day. Finally. Chanyeol was going to ask baekhyun to marry him.
They were going to be performing at the mamas in an hour.
Their relationship was widely excepted everyone loved them. There were so many relationships in kpop that had finally came out and were doing great.
Chanyeol was extremely nervous. He didn't know why though he knew baek would say yes.
He laughed a little to himself thinking back to 2012 after they debuted when he tried to break up with baekhyun and the boy said no. He literally told chanyeol he was not breaking up with him. And he was happy he did.
2016 was a hard year for baekhyun as no one knew that he had lost a baby from working to hard during that tour. It was devastating. Chanyeol was there for him and it took a long time for him to stop blaming himself for the loss.
Chanyeol sighed softly thinking back to that time.
It was now time for their stage and everyone was excited as they performed hyping the entire audience.
They had just finished singing an old song chanyeol had wrote for baek. Chanyeol kneeled behind baek as Suho turned him around.
"We've been together since 2009. We were 17 and we were trainees. I tried breaking up with you in 2012 and you told me no I couldn't break up with you. I've never been so thankful for that. You're my angel. You're my everything. We were each other's firsts and hopefully each other's lasts. So will you marry me?"
Baekhyuns eyes widened he was in shock but nodded none the less. The audience and rest of the idols were cheering like crazy.
Chanyeol smiles slipping the ring on baekhyuns finger.

Later at an interview with EXO
"So congratulations on your engagement" the interviewer told the couple and the rest of the group cheered. "What's in the future? A family?"
Chanyeol looked at baek not sure if he was ready to tell anyone yet. Baek nodded
"Well we've been through a lot with that. In 2016 I was pregnant but I worked to much and ended up losing the baby. We didn't tell anyone. Not even our parents. It took me a long time to stop blaming myself for it. I wouldn't have been able to get through it without chanyeol. He was and still is my everything. Losing that baby broke me in every way possible. That's when we went on hiatus and no one really knew why not even our members." Baekhyun spoke softly and everyone looked at him sympathetically
"He was in a rough place. I couldn't get him to get out of bed let alone eat for a few weeks. I had to physically pull him out of bed at the fourth week so we could get his health back on track. I'm just happy he's better now" chanyeol smiled softly
Baekhyun was looking at the ground shyly
"Well I kinda have something to tell you" Baekhyun looked up at chanyeol.
Chanyeol looked over at him "what?"
Baekhyun giggles a little bit and got out of his seat one of their managers off camera handed him a small box and 7 small envelopes.
He handed chanyeol the box and each of the other members got an envelope.
"Okay chanyeol start opening yours" he told chanyeol as he sat back down and chanyeol took the tape off the box "Okay everyone open your envelopes" a few seconds later he heard gasps and all of the managers laughed off camera as they all knew
in everyone's envelopes there was an ultrasound and a card

In chanyeols box there was a card an ultrasound and two onesies that had rainbows on them.
Babies after miscarriages are called rainbow babies. After a bad storm they are the beautiful thing that comes after.
Chanyeol hugged Baekhyun
"Wait. Two?!" Chanyeol realized the two onesies in the box
Baekhyun giggled a tear of happiness rolling down his cheek
"Yes. Two. I'm out of the first trimester so the risk of losing them is slim to none. They are healthy and growing perfectly." Baekhyun smiled wiping his tears.
