A Finding Out ting

"Yes!"

"What did Bailey say when you first asked her?" Sean asked

"T-that's not important," Bailey said not wanting to talk about it

"What?! You all keep saying to ask out my best friend and I have a good sample to learn from right here" Sean said

"It was a little bit more unconventional than that but... When I asked Tahani it went well she said 'yes take me out Saturday' so it worked" Josh said

"Fine..." Sean said "You're telling me the story one day"

"Promise but now go ask out your future wife," Bailey said pushing Sean towards the table

Meanwhile with Kaycee Julian and Tahani

Cafeteria

"Kaycee, you have been wearing your hair in a ponytail forever it's time to let it down," Tahani said as she was messing with Kaycee's hair

"Girls are weird" Julian commented, "Why does your hair matter so much?"

"Said mister long hair himself" Tahani commented

"Hey I just like it long doesn't mean I'm wearing to impress a girl," Julian said

"Look at this" Kaycee said passing him her phone "Who's more attractive?"

"The second girl why?" Julian said

"That's the same girl but different hairstyle," Kaycee said, "Some people look completely different when you just change one small ting about them, like could you imagine Bailey with a different haircut?"

"I see your point," Julian said "But I don't get you trying to make yourself prettier when you're the one going to ask Sean out, which I might add is a bad idea"

"You literally supported me yesterday," Kaycee said

"True but I didn't think..." Julian said as he hoped Sean would have asked her out before Kaycee got the confidence to do it herself, but couldn't say that "Think you would be ready so soon"

"Yeah but now or never," Kaycee said

"Now or never?" Tahani said finishing her hair and started applying some light make-up

"I mean it's been almost two years, he clearly doesn't like me, but if I can't do this then it means there's no hope," Kaycee said

"That's insane," Julian said

"Maybe but I can't just have a crush on the same guy for years, I will have to move on whether with him or without him," Kaycee said

"I can respect that," Tahani said

"Who knows I might ask you out next Julian 😘" Kaycee joked with Tahani finishing as Julian rolled his eyes

"Leave the jokes to me," Julian said as he sees Sean Josh and Bailey heading towards the table "Here they come"

"Sorry it took so long," Josh said as they all say down, coincidentally boys on one side and girls on the other with Sean and Kaycee right across from each other

"Hey," Kaycee said to Sean who just smiled

"Hey, did you change your hair?" Sean asked as Kaycee just nodded "Looks nice"

"Thanks," Kaycee said

...

They froze

Bailey saw this and made a group chat with the other three

Bailey's phone:

Josh❤️ Julian🤣 Tahani😒

They're not talking

Tahani: Kaycee was so confident she could ask him out too

Julian: I knew she couldn't do it

And Sean was gaining the courage too 😫

Josh: I have an idea

Tahani: Go ahead Joshy

Josh: Let's just say depending on how it goes they're either going to be happy I did it or pissed at me forever
Josh: No real in between

Julian: What are you talking about?

Josh: You'll see

Don't want to tell us first?

Josh: Nope

Cafeteria

"Alright it's time I get my payback on Rice," Josh said standing up in the process

"What could you possibly do to get back at me?" Kaycee said breaking out of her frozen state as Josh just smirked which worried her

"Sean!" Josh said gaining Sean's attention "... KAYCEE HAS HAD A HUGE CRUSH ON YOU FOR OVER A YEAR!!!!"

Stunned was not the best word but it fits the reaction of the whole Cafeteria who heard Josh

Bailey, Julian, and Tahani were at a load of words

Sean was wide-eyed

And Kaycee was utterly embarrassed "Who needs enemies when you have a best friend like this" she muttered out as she covered her face with her hands

"Oh, and Kayc" Josh continued "SEAN HAS BEEN IN LOVE WITH YOU EVER SINCE YOU DANCED IN FRONT OF HIM ON YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!"

Bailey, Julian, and Tahani stayed at a loss of words

But now Kaycee was stunned and Sean was the one embarrassed as he covered his face with one hand a habit he thought he broke

"Okay I'm done, good luck, BYE!!" Josh said as he took off from the cafeteria
