THE STEPS
When a little is being naughty there are usually steps before a punishment takes place. These steps aren't my idea!!

1. Count down.

2. Threaten Punishments.

3. The daddy/mommy glare.

4. Light slap on the bum or wrist to grab their attention.

5. Whisper not yell! Whispering grabs attention, yelling makes fear.

6. Follow through with the punishment you threatened.

7. SNUGGLES!

8. If the little still acts up, maybe they're sleepy. Early bedtime.

NO NO'S (all kinds)

1. Taking away a comfort item.

What I mean by a "comfort item" is like a paci, stuffie, or blankie. However, taking away something like a video game, phone, etc is okay (IN SOME CASES). You should ALWAYS communicate about these things beforehand. Just don't take something that makes littles feel safe or/and comfortable.

2. Yelling.

This is scary. Personally, I hate yelling from anyone. When you yell, the person might not even hear what you say. It is said that firm eye contact and whispering is best to get a point across.

3. Excessive physical "punishments".

Spankings, slaps on the wrist, they're okay (with communication!) , but anything past that is bad! Unless you have consent, don't ever lay your hand on someone. IF YOU DON'T HAVE COMMUNICATION, IT IS ABUSE. That goes for everyone, caregivers and littles.

OKAY (LONG DISTANCE)

1. Soap.

Personally I hate this idea but like hey, someone might. This can be over Skype/FaceTime/etc... Soap is yucky, so much that it might just get across

There's surely a lot more, but I honestly am to tired to think so take these haha, expect a update on this later on in the future.
