I sighed.

My mothers assistant dropped a magazine on the table in front of me.

Headline: Braxton Shaw Getting Married?

I rolled my eye's and looked at her. She had her arms crossed.

"What?" I asked annoyed. She grabbed the magazine and opened it laying it back down in front of me. I glanced down and there it was. A picture from when i was seventeen and a party animal. It was when i hung out with the Hollywood crowd a lot. you meet a few disney kids and go to a few parties and bam your in... if your cool enough.

There i was in the middle of a party in a tiny, I mean TINY outfit with a bottle of whiskey in my hand. I looked like a harlot. It was bad. Very bad. It was actually the same party where i met Amy Whinhoues. She wasnt a fan of me i was a stupid kid she was so much more.

That party had been my last.... I shuddered as i thought about it.

"This isn't good is it?" I looked at Vicky with a sheepish look. I knew that at that point in time i was just a mess.

"No it's not,  now tonight at the contract signing you better sign or you are finished, this is your last chance." She grabbed the magazine and walked out of the room muttering something. She as my moms pr had always been quit hyper critical.

I sighed and laid my head on the table. Well i guess that's it I'm doing this. I hated myself but i had promised him that i would stay in the good graces of the family. If only just to please him i would do it, i would do anything. I walked up to my room. I started the preparations.

Two hours later i was done. Way to much work but it was better than the style squad attacking me.

I walked down the stairs waiting for the car to be brought around. (Would have liked to drive myself but Carol was 100% against me driving.)

Carols heels click clacked up to me from behind as i starred out the front windows.

"Red was a good choice." I smiled at the complement. They were rarer from her.

"Thank you mother."  My smile was not returned.

"Now tonight you will have dinner, sign the contract, and then you are free to do what you like."  I nodded. In some weird way it was freeing.

"Ms.Vella the car is ready." I turned and walked out the door. Off to sign away my own free will.

As we drove towards the restaurant on this dark rainy night i started to panic. My palms where clammy and i kept tapping my foot. My heart raced so fast i could hear it.

Before i knew it we pulled up in front of the damn restaurant of doom. I click clacked my way up to the door opening it and walking up to the host named Marcus, who id known for years.

"Hey marky i'm supposed to meet a Mr. Shaw reservation for two at 7:30." He rolled his eyes. Peculiar.

"Your the girl meeting that ass hat, i feel sorry for you." I blinked at him a couple times. Marcus never said anything about other patrons before.

"He comes here often?" i assumed.

"Yeah always bringing some hoe along with him, I wasn't guessing that he'd be with his fiancee tonight." So he does this often, a real player. I scowled i doubted hed be a good fit for me and im probably right. He already disgusts me.

"Just show me to the table so I can leave faster." I grumbled Mark gave me a sympathetic smile and lead me towards a table.

The restaurant had an upstairs to it that was a little more exclusive and a lot more expensive. He lead me up there. I held my chin high and had my shoulders back as Braxton came into view.
