Alright, I had debated whether to post this or not, but I figure it would be best to clarify.
If you have reached this point, then you have concluded the first book in the Of Fate Chronicles. If you go to my profile from here you will discover I have the second book: Wielders of Fate posted and the first few chapters of the third Warriors of Fate. There is something you should know about the second. After I finished writing the FIRST draft of Creatures of Fate I immediately set out and wrote the first draft of Wielders. I had started the first draft of the third book when the inspiration struck to rewrite the first.
During the rewrite I added several characters, renamed a couple, added to the world, changed the world, and even altered aspects of the plot. So if you do go on to read the second book there will be several inconsistencies and it'll be possibly very confusing.
I'll make a note of some of the changes:
Zidtyx was renamed Ryorata. (I wanted a more Asian sounding theme, as that is part of how Kitsunes are depicted in my book)
In the original draft there was no Yhena and Avdon and Amsyn had become romantic by the end. So a grieving period will be absent.
Dwarves existed in the original concept of the world, but I discovered I can't write Dwarves and took them out. There is still Twelve races, the twelfth is now Quetzacoatls and their story and place in the world is completely different from the one the Dwarves held. When I go back to rewrite the plot will have major alternations in that respect.
There is one author's note, I don't remember on which chapter, that states I created a separate book with the information regarding the world. I did, but then I deleted, because I ended up making major alternations to the myths and culture. I don't know when or if I will ever get around to reposting it. I am still world-building, it is a never-ending process and I have, literally, two binders of typed and written notes in addition to two notebooks and other loose sheets. Even if I wished to post it, it would take me an age to sort through it.
However, if anyone has any questions regarding the countries, myths, cultures, aesthetic, or creatures please comment on this-or any chapter-and I will explain. If I get a lot of questions I may just post a new part where I answer them.
Thank you for enduring this absurdly long note and your patient regarding the chaos in my head. Enjoy and never stop dreaming.
Phoenix Grimm.
