Chapter 4: A secret meant to be told

When I got home, I saw my mom and sister sitting next to each other, and i started to head to my room when I suddenly got stopped by my mom. I turned around to face her and had asked her: "what is it?". "I have to tell you something, but not here. Go outside in 5 minutes." She told me. I waited the 5 minutes thinking what she wanted to tell me.

I went outside and my mom had a worried look on her face. Something was off about it, I could tell. After a full minute of silence, she spoke. "You know how your eye glows when your angry? Well it's because you have powers, I had to wait until you was mature enough to learn this." I stopped her in the middle of her sentence. "I could tell, I was always difficult and different. Its because of it isn't it?". "Yes" she said to me. I went back inside, went into the bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror. I thought about it, and came to a conclusion, I must learn what I have and I must be able to use this "power" that I have. If she's wrong, then I'm not sure what I will do, but if I really do have a power, I must know what it is.

I went into a forest that I knew about that was near my house. I set up a training dummy to test this "power". First I tried levitation, nothing happened, then I tried all the different types of powers I knew about and nothing happened. I got frustrated and went to punch the dummy and I missed but a row of swords came out of the ground in the same direction of my arm. I was shocked. I moved my hand up into the air and a big pile of swords came out of the ground then I put my hand down and the swords disappeared. I slammed my hands on the ground and a massive wave of swords went towards the dummy and many of the swords went through it and I stood back up and the dummy fell down to the ground and I smiled. I had let out a bit of anger on the dummy, I was outside for most of the day and I felt like i was being watched, and I had turned around and Alexis was behind me. I jumped up and got scared for a split second and she laughed at me. I asked her "How long have you been there?" "About 30 minutes watching you go at it with the dummy". I asked "Do I need to explain?" "No not really" she replied. Then I nodded and said "You hungry?" She stood up and said "yea, can I come over to eat at your house?" "Sure." I said and we went to my house and had a good dinner.
