“I’m getting security…” Kora mumbled walking away.
Riley went to step around me, but I blocked him. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“With Kor. Didn’t you hear her tell me to come with her?”
I folded my arms across my chest, looking up and raising my brows. “You’re an idiot if you think I’d believe that.”
Kora came walking back with our body guard Andy and Paul on her heels.
“There you are. Babe, just come back with me.” Riley held out his hand.
Red wrapped her small arms around mine left forearm, resting her head against my shoulder. She looked Riley right in the eye and said, “Screw you, Riley. I don’t want you back. I never have since I broke up with you.”
Andy stepped forward when Riley’s fists clinched. He huffed and stepped away from the massive body guard. “You’ll regret this, Kora.” He turned around and started to storm off.
“Oh, wait, Riley?” Kora called after him, getting him to look back. “Tell my mom if she wants me to come and find me. I’m not running anymore.”
He rolled his eyes and kept walking.
I ruffled Red’s hair. “That’s my Little Red.”
She groaned. “Oh gosh, not you to!”
I cracked a smile. “It just suits you so well!”
She rolled her eyes at me and started to walk off. “Wait!” I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. “Want a piggy-back ride?”
She smiled and nodded, so I crouched down and let her hop on my back then took off running down the hall.
Kora flopped across the bed as soon as we made it back into our hotel room. “I’m so freaking tired!”
I chuckled and sat on the bed next to her, pulling my tie off. “Go to bed then.”
“But I’m all sweaty and gross and smell like feet.”
I picked her arm up and sniffed it, wrinkling my nose. “You’re right; ya do smell like feet.”
She quickly sat up and shoved my arm, almost shoving me off the bed. “Horan!”
I laughed at the look on her face. “I’m kidding, love. You smell and look fine.”
She frowned at me then turned her back to me, crossing her arms over her chest as she started to pout.
“Come on, babe, I was joking.” I tried, but failed. She just looked in the opposite direction. I scooted closer. “Come on, I’m sorry!” Still nothing. Suddenly an idea hit me and I scooted closer, leaning down to kiss her neck. Kora sat straight up, stiffening from what I guessed was shock before she relaxed and smile tugged at the edges of her lips. “Do you forgive me?” I whispered in her ear then kissed her jaw.
She giggled. “Fine, you win. I forgive you.”
“You’re right; you do smell like feet,” Niall said as he sniffed my arm and wrinkled his nose.
I sat up, my jaw dropping as I shoved his arm, successfully causing him to lose his balance and almost fall off the mattress. “Horan!” I yelled.
He chuckled. “I’m kidding, love. You smell and look fine.”
I huffed and turned around so my back was towards him. I crossed my arms over my chest and looked down, pouting at the bedspread. I knew it would bother him.
“Come on, babe, I was joking.” He tried to apologize, nudging my elbow. I looked to my right, away from where he had touched me. I felt him move closer. “Come on, I’m sorry!” He tried again. I didn’t respond in anyway. He was silent for a minute, so I thought he had given up, but suddenly I felt his lips on my neck. I stiffened, sitting straight up in surprise. I definitely wasn’t expecting that. He kissed my neck again and I relaxed, an unexpected smile tugging at the corners of my lips. “Do you forgive me?” He whispered in my ear, causing my heart to race as he pressed his lips to my jaw line.
I giggled, unable to help it. “Fine, you win! I forgive you.”
“Yay!” He cheered, grabbing me around the waist and falling backwards, pulling me with him. I laughed, rolling over in his arms so I could see the smile on his face. He looked down at me and his smile widened. “Like the view?”
I winked at him. “You know it.”
He busted out laughing and fell off the bed, landing with a loud thud on the floor. I covered my mouth as I started to crack up, peeking over the edge to see Niall laying on the floor clutching his stomach. “Are you okay?” I asked between laughs.
He mimicked me and winked, saying, “You know it!” Which caused me to laugh louder. Hope the people in the hotel didn’t mind a lot of very noisy laughing!
