Don't ask, don't judge

Andula's house up above.

Andula's POV

"Everyone please fasten your seatbelts we are descending into LA." The flight attendant says. I stick my earbuds in and continue looking out the window like I was before my dad yanked both earbuds out. Talk about rude, I was listening to a good song too. 

I feel the plane dip and see the clouds disappear, buildings appear along with cars and lots of lights. My stomach dips along with the plane then erupts in butterflies of nerves that shoots along my body, I didn't realize that moving to a new place would be so nerve wracking.

I suddenly feel the plane bump and I snap out of my thoughts and look out the window and see we have landed.

*deadpans* yay I'm so happy to be at a city that is basically an oven.

I feel dad tug my earbuds out of my ears again "Da-" "Don't whine about me pulling out your earbuds and get ready to get off" He tells me seriously and leaves no room to whine or argue. So I just nod my head begrudgingly and put my earbuds in my front pocket of my bag, not wanting to irritate him more.

I didn't really take anything out during the ride, all I did was listen to music, look out the window, space out and fall asleep a couple times. It was peaceful.

But all peacefulness must come to an end at some point.

The plane stops in front of a big building with lots of windows....like...a lot. The little glow-y sign blinks off and I unbuckle myself and stand up along with dad. "So....about the house...since my job is paying for...almost everything, our house is big...like mini mansion big" I nod my head "Ok...your job is paying for it....I don't have to get another job?" I ask him to make sure, when mom went missing we had difficulties with bills, so I had to get a job to help, I also had to sell some of my stuff...and go through my mom's stuff  a month after the accident, it took a big toll on me but I pushed through with May.

He nods his head "Yes baby girl you don't have to worry" I smile at him in response, genuinely happy at that, and get off the plane and into the window building, making a building out windows isn't really all that great, I mean sure it looks nice but...what if there's an earthquake? Or someone wanted to shoot the building, you're really setting them up for destruction.

Anyway, we walk into the building with a bunch of other people and follow them like fish going down stream. You must flow with the fish to find thy food....meaning thy bags with thy food, it's pretty self explanatory.

Don't ask...Don't judge...I'm weird.

We get our bags along with the other fish and migrate to the outdoors....the very hot outdoors, I should've worn my shorts. But Andula is stupid and Andula is about to get left behind. I quickly catch up with my dad and we hail a cab like in those movies.

I look out the window and see a lot of palm trees, people and buildings, there's small buildings then really big buildings. Imagine me standing next to 6'4 guy....there's the height difference since I'm 4'11 almost 5 foot. It's good to compare to show and make the person understand what you are talking about. I wish I was tall....

I must eat more and sleep like the dead to get that one inch, then I shall be superior.

This is what it's like to be in my mind...it's all over the place. I'm not sorry so don't expect an apology from me because I'm being me. Moving on.

After about 20 minutes of driving and dad trying to make small talk with the cab driver we make it to a cute looking house. It's a cute two story house with a one car garage, stone and wood making it seem like an old mini castle.
