Lidiya's body was on fire. She stretched her limbs, feeling silk sheets that weren't hers. Her eyes shot open when she felt weight on her and lips on her stomach. She looked down to see Godric pressing open-mouthed kisses to her bare skin.

"Godric!" She gasped, her fingers raking through his hair as he kissed lower and lower. Her thighs shook as his lips and tongue found her core. She moaned and writhed against him as he pleasured her expertly and relentlessly.

Lidiya felt herself careening to the edge of ecstasy when he suddenly stopped.

"Godric, please!" She all but sobbed as her heart pounded against her ribcage.

"Please what, Lover?" He asked, looking up at her as innocently as a 2,000 year old vampire in his current position could look.

"Please don't stop," she begged. His lips quirked into a devilish smirk as he pushed two fingers inside her and teased her clit with his tongue.

Just as she felt her orgasm building, Godric replaced his tongue with his thumb and sunk his fangs into her femoral artery. She cried out as she came undone. Godric took several deep draws from her before he pulled away and closed the wounds.

She was just catching her breath when he started kissing his way back up her body.

"You look exquisite when you come, Lover. I'd like to see it again," Godric said and hooked her legs up and around his waist before pushing inside her with one smooth thrust.

Lidiya gasped as she jolted awake. Her heart was racing and she could feel the sticky wetness between her legs.

Because of her abilities, Lidiya could distinctly tell the difference between a dream and a vision. She was reeling when she realized that this was a vision and not a dream. A decision had been made and if things stayed on this path, she'd end up in bed with Godric. She couldn't help but wonder if she was the one making the decision or if Godric was.

Later that day, Lidiya found herself in a crowded cafe in downtown Dallas, her bodyguard -Tony- sitting a few tables away. She sipped at her coffee and dialed her only friend's number.

"Lidiya, you okay chère?" Came a voice that immediately made her smile.

"Can't a friend call without something being wrong?" She asked, mock-offended.

"Not when you're involved chère," he said, serious, though she could hear the amusement in his tone.

"Touché. So...something happened with Godric," she said and held her breath.

"He didn't hurt you did he?! I'll kill that Fanger if he did!" He growled into the phone.

"Alcide, don't be silly!" She admonished. "And no, he didn't hurt me. He drank from me though," she said, trying not to smile at the memory.

"Really? After 3 years? Is that good or bad?" He asked.

"I don't know. I'm worried that he suspects. And if he doesn't, I feel horrible for..." She trailed off, not even sure what to call what she was doing.

"For what, leading him on?" He supplied. "It's only leading him on if you don't actually care about him Lidiya. And who knows, maybe he's just finally realizing what a sexy woman he's got right under his nose. Did you know...?" He asked and Lidiya could just imagine him wagging his eyebrows at her.

"No! No, we didn't. I...I had a vision that we did though," she said and she couldn't help but blush.

"Well that's a good thing. He wouldn't sleep with you if he was mad at you, right?"

"You know the future isn't certain Alcide," she sighed. Even the slightest decision could alter the future she'd seen. She could very well not have that vision ever again.

"Well I hope for your sake it is. Trouble is brewing,"

"What do you mean?" She asked, curious at his choice of words.

"I met a woman, Sookie Stackhouse. I think she's like you chère. If I'm right, the vamps will be all over her in no time," he said and Lidiya had to pause and take in what he'd said. Another telepath? She'd never met anyone like her, not that she even knew what she was.

"If it's true, Eric needs to know about her before the Queen finds out," she said, not bothering to tell him that he was going to have to tell him.

"Got it. Be careful chère,"

"I'm always careful," she pouted. She really did try.

"Sure you are," he said and she could hear his deep rumble of a chuckle. She hung up before she told Alcide she missed him. Tony was looking too interested in her conversation.

Sure enough, when Lidiya called Stan that night, he told her about Sookie.

"Sophie-Ann will be sending Bill Compton to procure her for us. Apparently her cousin Hadley is one of her pets," he said and Lidiya wondered what kind of relationship they had if she'd sell her own blood out to vampires. Irony not withstanding.

"That is great news Master, she will be a great ally," she lied.

"I have also made arrangements with Steve Newlin to deal with Godric. You will help him," he said firmly.

"Of course, Master,"

"Good. Do not fail me Lidiya," he said in a tone that Lidiya used to fear and shrink at. Now it just rolled off of her.

"I wouldn't dream of it Master," she said, though she was already planning on how to get Godric out of Dallas. She just hoped Alcide had been successful in letting Eric know about Sookie.
